N906TM is registered to RKT Productions. This gets really interesting, because according to online records, RKT has existed for roughly five months, in the DC area. The airworthiness certificate registration shows them in the Bristow, VA area, and having owned the aircraft March of 2011.
When I do a search for RKT Productions in Virginia, I get a lot of pages about aircraft registrations, but not a lot about the company itself.

It's pretty obvious what's going on. They have a credible threat that involves biological or nuclear weapons and they are using detection equipment to watch for the threat.
When you are at work do you explain every little thing you're doing to everyone who looks at you? No, it is assumed you're doing your job and you assume everyone else is doing their job.
So please, let whatever agency it is do their job in protecting us.
It’s not the state or local police doing the flying, and the FAA is giving out little information, even to city officials.
“It’s frustrating, it really is,” says City Councillor Brian Palmucci. “I specifically asked, ‘Is it a law enforcement flight? Can we tell people that?’ He said, ‘No, we can’t tell you that.’ Then I asked that when folks call me can I at least tell them that it is something that they shouldn’t worry about, it’s something they shouldn’t be concerned with? He said, ‘I can’t tell you that.’”

You have proof that the FAA said it was "secret" I have logged over a 1000 hours without filing a flight plan - the FAA knew nothing about my flights -- they weren't really secret -- they were mostly to impress dates and going for ice cream or burgers.. Nothing secret at all.

Could they be mapping the area? Perhaps a GPS type thing, just the current version of whatever the government is using?
Yea thats true it is possible they are testing some new camera/sendor that is able to penetrate walls and get better results at night than FLIR, that would make sense. It could be a kind of "deep mapping" project", not to make a normal map like on google earth, but a very detailed map to include number of residents per household, energy usage, etc., in areas the size of city blocks.
Basically a new way to search people without a warrant like what they did after the kid blew the bomb in boston.
Note also they've been seeing UFO's here since the 40's, is this related?

Quincy is a city just South of Boston.
For the past 10 days there has been a small, low-flying aircraft that residents say is buzzing the city low and slow. Residents claim that the aircraft is present over the city nearly 24 hours a day. Officials claim that "It is not a drone, it is a manned aircraft."
Apparently these flights are sanctioned by the FAA, but they're not giving any information beyond "We have to be very careful this time."
Interesting! What is this mystery aircraft doing and why is it being kept secret?

[It is a] low humming, low flying plane that the FAA says isn’t a drone; however, I would love to get some answers,” said Palmucci. “If it’s not a drone, how is it staying in the air nearly 24 hours a day? It’s my understanding that the FAA mandates that flights last no more than eight hours.
At night, on a clear night, you can look up and think it's a single engine passenger plane," O'Malley said. "It sounds like one, has the running lights like one, and it passes my house in Wollaston, circles over Milton, Blue Hills, over Randolph, Holbrook and comes back to the same spot every eight minutes.edit on 10-5-2013 by METACOMET because: (no reason given)
