Amazing Time Lapse - 30 years of Satellite pictures

So I was browsing around and bumped into this little gem of a website from Time Magazine. It shows 30 years of Landsat images from around the world. All of them stitched together to make mini movies of Development, Deforestation, Sea ice changes etc etc.

Kinda hard to see the impact us Humans have had on the world. From above the rainforest one would think that it had some kind of cancer. Hope you find them as interesting as I do!

Timelapse Landsat Satellite Images of the World

Thats pretty cool... I typed in "Area 51" into the search bar and it took me to some forest in the middle of France

Looking at the Metro Vancouver one it seems right, since you can see the BC Place Stadium white dome disappear from quite a ways up.

It's cool looking at the glaciers recede and pop back, also the ports seem to be growing quickly

It would be very cool if it didn't have a huge ad superimposed on it.
