Muslims want to install sharia law in every country in the world and if you don't agree then you will be enslaved or killed.

Well, the Muslims also believe that America wants to invade every muslim country and install western democracy and establish military bases. They also believe that if they disagree, they will be shot or bombed by the invading western forces.

My husband likes for me to correct his English, so I will do the same here. I believe the word you mean is "taught".

So the National Press Club in DC was used for this story. I find it funny just before this they did this big event. SO does it mean this story is in the same category as UFOs?

This may be partially true or not, I cannot declare I know for sure what the plans of the Shadow Government and the CFR have these days, though I think Syria was in the original PNAC plan. And Syria it is under who's watch? Why yes, that would be Obama, the one who grew up in Indonesia for a time with his muslim stepdad, the one who attended a Christian church for years and years which preaches a hateful anti-American rhetoric in the name of the Lord, that one who said in his own book that he loved to be around all the radicals and the Marxists, yes it's even in his own book.
Yep, that would be the same one who mocked the Christian bible in public.
As I said before he is more Marxist I think than anything else and would probably do or say just about anything to get the agenda of the Shadow Government done. The Ends justify the means...something the Communist Party pretty much believes.

Try again passing Hagar off as a "hot little servant woman", as you did previously.
Oh wait, you cant.. the Bible proves you wrong, as she was Abrahams wife.

As for the "child" ... Sarah, Hagar and Keturah were all legitimate bearers of Abrahams children.
What exactly was the point you were trying to make?

edit on 10-5-2013 by sk0rpi0n because: (no reason given)

I see sarcasm does not register to well with my post. I was joking about hagar being a tart. Sarah was the FIRST WIFE though, and God promised THE FIRST WIFE the child of Promise. The point i am trying to make is that most people who read the qu ran are not understanding what was going on. And I do not recall the bible saying hagar was abrahams wife. Can you show me the verses that back that up?

Wait a minute I thought Islam was the religion based in peace and tolerance.
Maybe just maybe it is based in hate and vengeance.

It seems TPTB want to really piss off the armed forces? Is this planned for a reason? Why would you undermine and disgrace the people that keep you safe?

So many questions and I hate to even think what the answers might be to them. Either they are so stupid it is laughable or there is a plan in place we are not seeing yet. Both are kinda scary if you ask me.

I guess you didn't read my reply where I mentioned the verse where Sarah herself gave Hagar to Abraham to be his wife.

And Sarai Abram's wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife. - Genesis 16:3

But let me guess, that still wouldn't count as Biblical backing for you.

and God promised THE FIRST WIFE the child of Promise. The point i am trying to make is that most people who read the qu ran are not understanding what was going on.

Well, the "child of promise" - Isaac... is honored in Islam. Islam recognizes that Allah favored the Israelites.

Indeed we gave the children of Israel the Book, and wisdom, and the prophecy, and we provided them with good things and favored them above all creation.
-Koran 45:16

^ There are many more such verses.

What you don't seem to get is that Israelite prophets do not challenge Islamic belief.
Muslims do not oppose the Bibles prophets, they accept them as being previous messengers of God. So your point about the "child of promise" is a moot one.

As far as religion is concerned, its not exactly an Arab vs Israelite thing for the Muslims. Only 2 or 3 prophets in Islam are Arab... pretty much every other prophet honored by Islam happen to be Israelite. Muslims accept Jesus, an Israelite... as their Messiah.

I occasionally do the "spelling police" bit, especially when it is obvious English is not the first language. I don't think it was a typo, I think it was not knowing a particular word in the English language.
So whatever, I've seen post after post after post of nasty Christian bashing on this website and it just gets so tiring to watch liberals/leftists/seculars do this while defending some of the worst behavior in other religions/non-religions.
So that's my story. What's yours? Is your post any more poignant than mine was?

If you want debate, I've got plenty of it. I can usually outdebate a lot of people when I put my mind to it. I was a bit off my game on this thread, but mostly it was because I took the Washington Times at face value, and because I know that this current admin is anti American, anti Christian, anti freedom, anti Capitalist, anti Conservative, anti family and pretty much anti all the family values the average person my age grew up with. I have absolutely no sympathy for leftist radical subversive behavior or people because I know what it is doing to the country I love dearly.
It's almost always the same people I see arguing against Christians and conservatives in general.

Why go that route of cheapness?
Point is you have no argument. You have your mind set in stone, the mountain of evidence here proves you wrong.

Why are you going this route? Did you have anything at all on the particular topic to discuss or did you just pick on me for the heck of it? I think that is exactly what you did. At least I bothered to contribute to actual debate in this thread.

I did not have my mind set in any stone, but plenty of people in here do. I even said I was wrong about some stuff.
Again, have you anything else to contribute here? Do you have the humility to admit when you are wrong about something?

I love a good rolling debate. Let's hear what you have to say on the topic. After 13 pages you have no clue about me.

I might ask the same of you - are you any of those things? If not, is there some particular reason we should accept your interpretation over that of a Muslim who lives the religion?

I didn't offer an interpretation or translation of the verse.

I did question the reliability of a translation by someone with a dog in the race.

I googled and this story ran on just about every blog out there in blogosphere. The only people saying the translations are wrong are the people posting here. But one thing I've noticed is that a lot of people are talking about how Obama revealed that Seal team 6 were the ones who got Osama and so they ended up dead because Obama's boasting put a target on their backs. It really is something to think about no?
One blogger even said the same thing I did, that the cleric prayed only for the one muslim guy to go to heaven.

Sorry if that's not pc enough for the lefties around here.

We'll always have rat-bastards on any side that'd take a piss on someone or some side that they don't like.

We have ####ing tards like Westboro saying worse things every damned day.

So a cleric might have said something insulting.

Big effing deal! Coming from a vet, my own frigging government takes a bigger dump on people like me daily than any rat-bastard cleric!

Sorry about the rant, but this is just plain damned silly!

Bit of a cock up by whoever appointed this cleric to speak, most would have considered it bad form as the world is facing terror from a radical version of their religion but where the ball was dropped was that the Cleric was not made to recite in English.

The fact they let him do it in Arabic meant he could get away with saying numerous things and then blame the translation which is a normal tactic.

Personally I think he should never have been there, most of America would have seen it as a sleight.

It was a joint funeral. The dead also included 7 Afghan soldiers and a translator.

Just why would a Muslim cleric hold a funeral for dead Christians?

Also, he did not damn anybody. It was a standard prayer... read back a few pages and don't fall for the sensationalist thread title.
