How many Americans die per year from suicide bombs? Mexican drug cartels are on our borders literally beheading people. MS13 is one the deadliest gangs in the United States. And somehow, because 2 idiot kids blew up a race, ALL Muslims are more dangerous? This irrational, emotionally-driven response, is not what we need... and it's the very reason why our troops sit on Afghanistan's border instead of our own.

I think the suggestion is both ineffective and insupportable as well as being very poorly thought out.

How does one determine who a "Muslim" is? Birth country? There are Christian, Buddhist, Baha'i, and many other faiths (as well as atheists) in each of those countries.

Do we ask everyone who applies for immigration status to swear they're not Muslim? How do we know they're not lying? Ask them to prove church sponsorship? How do you prevent outright lies and a corrupt system where people are paid to swear someone belongs to a certain faith?

Skin color? Do we then ship all our Native Americans off overseas?

What about those who live here and started out Christian but converted to the Muslim faith?

This has all the forethought of McCarthyism -- and if you'll recall your history, we've done this before (many times) and each time it fails spectacularly because it harms so many innocents.

Yes it will, it will let TBTB know where you reside and that you have an opinion on the matter. You are just giving "Them" more information regarding yourself. If you wish to end up on one of there lists carry on, probably already on one just because you/me participate in controversial discussions here at ATS to be fair!

Trippy part is you will probably all end up in the same FEMA camp together at last!

Maybe you, and everyone who thinks like you, should learn to understand something before you condemn it. Homosexuality is not an abomination, nor is it unnatural. It's just another example of one of humanity's only redeeming features: the ability to love. We have developed an ability to form powerful emotional attachments to other lifeforms, and those attachments are beautiful no matter who it is.

Similarly, Muslims are not terrorists. TERRORISTS are terrorists. They come in all shapes, sizes, colours, religions etc etc. Muslims are people, and a people that are actually very easy to get along with. They don't force Islam on you, they don't constantly sit there judging you. For the most part they're quite happy to do most of the things you do.

OP, how many Muslims do you know? And by 'know' I don't mean how many people do you know are Muslim, but how many have you developed friendships with? Or hung out with? Or taken on a night out with you?
I'd go so far as to assume the number is zero. Make some friends, open your mind and, above all...

DENY IGNORANCE!

1. You know this will never pass
2. If it did they'd just say they were another religion on the immigration papers.
3. You wouldn't like if they said no more white protestants even though you spent your life defending the country.

Of course, while the police and CIA have prevented the above attacks, they were not successful at stopping the Boston attack or the Fort Hood attack where Nidal Malik Hasan killed 13 people and shot 30 people other people while shouting allahu akbar (god is great).

Islamic terrorism in the USA has on the whole been unsuccessful but not for want of trying. Of course we can't condemn all Muslims for the terrorist attacks of a few.

The radicals swim like fish amongst the more moderate community.

And as for Sharia law becoming commonplace in the US, can you please explain how you come to this conclusion?

If I was you I would be more worried about Americans passing laws that limit your freedom rather than the Muslims some how rising up and implementing Sharia law in your country.

A) we are all human
B) we all exist on the same planet and shouldn't 'not care' if some people want to kill others to further their political ideology.

You come across as a little challenged in your approach to being a member of the human race, good look with getting that sorted.

I think a better idea would be to not allow any Christians leave the United States, especially anyone in the US Military.

Islam is not our enemy. But Judeo-Christianity is which built Western Civilization into one big cluster#.
