If man was a Bonobo...

Hi Folks,

After replying to this interesting thread here : www.abovetopsecret.com...

I thought i would create a thread to let you picture what it would be like if man was wiped off the face of the earth and replaced by Bonobos :

If we replace our current social structure with the one depicted in the videos, nobody would ever die due to conflicts anymore.

Instead we would quazillionuckle the world population from 7 Billion to 35 Billion in less than 10 years, and all be trampled to death or die of starvation.

I think I like the current world with the occasional war better.

So natural death, accidents, natural disaters or being eaten by predators etc etc would not count then?

Nature has a great way of naturally controlling populations

Even tho what Bonobos do as Natural, i would never want to do that, i think its a disgusting behaviour ..using sex as a tool... oh wait...

Humans can comprehend much more mental emotion than primates, for them sex might be just an act but for humans its much more than that.

Bonobos also practice incest, sodomy and pedophilia.

I think that what you also have to remember when saying that is that old and new world primates primates do not have the same "rational" thought as we humans do, so therefore the 3 words mentioned above would not be "taboo" or unnatural for them as it is for us. If you see what i mean?

And as for sex just being an act with this particular species of primate... i am not too sure, i will need to dig into finding some peer reviews.

It has nothing to do with taboo, Ok Sodomy are okay, if is not rape. I do not see any detrimental effects, but Incest is biologically bad(too much mutations from repeated genes), also Pedophilia has no benefit and only mental scar.

Like i said maybe it would be okay for primates, i'm not even sure if they suffer from child abuse or any type or trauma unlike humans.

But a society of humans doing such things.. sleeping with anyone they like... anyone raise the child... etc etc.. it would have to be a emotion withdrawn society.

Because we humans have the means of preventing many of the deaths too, take into consideration our health technology, means of being able to protect ourselves from accidents, natural disaster warning technology etc... (i am not saying that all of our modern technology keeps us alive much longer) BUT a major part does!

well, as i'm getting a visit from the better half later, i did not watch the vids as i'm getting on a bit and would prefer to save my chi..
i like the whole premise though and would certainly give it a try - i think you are right that the world would be a somewhat nice place.. except when i find out that i can throw my faeces at those i disagree with and not get subsequently locked up
