The video is the 'highlights' of his speech sure more of it can be found on youtube for those who want to watch it.

I agree with a lot of what Beck is saying up to a point where he could have used less religion, and more constitution, and history.

Someone who brings God/Jesus to a gun fight is just as bad as those who bring nukes, and tanks to a gun fight.

For those who actually do watch the video instead of taking pot shot's at Beck like normal will notice Beck is talking about a whole lot more than the second amendment.

Watch it or not.

Agree with it or not.

People had better remember one thing if nothing else:

Actually no Becks comment about Manson is not wrong :

He was convicted of the murders through the joint-responsibility rule, which makes each member of a conspiracy guilty of crimes his fellow conspirators commit in furtherance of the conspiracy's objective

and for the bonus round? Charles Manson killed exactly 0 people! It's always termed "Manson and his followers killed...." because he did direct others who then killed by inspiration if not on direct and specific orders from him. Indeed... I don't believe he ever was violent to that extent, personally. He's a fruit loop ...but a very charismatic one, apparently.

Many of the things he said in the video are self evident to anyone who is not a socialist communist. The first responder comment was right on IMO.

He talks and some might listen and understand yet the sun will rise tomorrow and it will be business as usual for most. Thanks for posting the video I have not seen Beck speak for a long time. S&F for your efforts

You know, I agree with you in saying that Beck does bring a lot of very important and solid points to the public discussion. He always has. In fact, there are some issues with specific people and organizations which may never have become common public knowledge without his efforts. Van Jones would surely agree. (grin)

At the same time? I think he's slipped off into that habit he once vigorously condemned and rightfully so. He's gotten just a little loose and easy about how he presents things. He ought to know better too, which is what turns me off. He started ...before TV and when he was just 3 hours every morning for his radio show, ridiculing and hawking over people for those little slip ups and contradictions. He could do it with the best of them.

Now he's become 'them' when he knows full well there are hundreds, if not thousands of people who watch and record every broadcast he makes to dissect and inspect for such a slip up on his part. That alone ought to have him among the more precise for words and meanings. It's distracting to the point of losing his points at times, IMO.

Ok I gave you the benefit of the doubt and researched it myself. I read the entire page on Wikipedia. I already knew everything. Total waste of time. You owe me 7 minutes of my life back. You do know who Charles Manson is don't you?

He told the people to go kill them he himself didn't kill any of them. So Beck is wrong.

When Manson tasked Watson with obtaining money supposedly intended to help the Family prepare for the conflict, Watson defrauded a black drug dealer named Bernard "Lotsapoppa" Crowe. Crowe responded with a threat to wipe out everyone at Spahn Ranch. Manson countered on July 1, 1969, by shooting Crowe at his Hollywood apartment. Manson's mistaken belief that he had killed Crowe was seemingly confirmed by a news report of the discovery of the dumped body of a Black Panther in Los Angeles.

I liked his speech. Especially the part about us being the first to open our hearts to the homeless and give food to the poor. Funny thing though, if a democrat had said those words you'd be the first to yell "socialist."

Watched part of the video. Nothing new here. Something about people out to take their guns away, God, legislating a way of life out of existence. Glenn Beck is taking his acting out to broadway, this was the feeling I got from watching this video. He does what he does best, put on a show, entertain his guests, say what they want to hear, and he probably got a pretty penny out of it as well for speaking. Ah well, everybody's gotta eat I guess.

Maybe they didn't get the memo. People consider Obama a socialist, and considering that these very same people can't seem to distinguish socialism from communism, what they mean by this is that he's a communist. They just use the term 'socialist' to seem less outdated and paranoid in their arguments. Do you agree Charles? Is Obama a socialist, and if so, does this make him a communist? Let me know will you?

We should be the first to open our hearts and GIVE.
What the government does is TAKE.
We should be able to give as WE see fit. Not have someone take from us and give as THEY see fit.
Quad
