Medical Test Uses Fingers To Predict Heart Disease

losangeles.cbslocal.com

Now there’s a simple new test that possibly predicts heart disease years in advance not by looking at your heart, but your fingers instead.

KCAL9′s Juan Fernandez spoke to Dr. Chris Renna of LifeSpan Medicine in Santa Monica to find out how the test works.
Endothelial function is the bomb. That’s the money,” he said.
Blood vessel health can be easily checked with the EndoPat test, according to Dr. Renna.
He showed Fernandez various charts showing patients with varying results.

Some good medical news. Catch heart disease early and really save a lot of lives. This is much better than some ill conceived government programs. Show people that their lifestyle is already producing ill fruit and they may decide to make better choices all on their own. Reminds me of the days when medicine was about "healing" and not about money.

What if a person has Reynards disease, that doesn't necessarily mean they will have heart problems. S&F for making me aware of a new test.

Good news, thanks.

It should go on to help save a great many lives and improve the lives of many more.

I'd go as far as saying that this should be something that's incorporated into standard GP practices, for routine or periodic usage.

It looks like a quick, inexpensive means of saving lives or helping to identify problems and maybe encourage lifestyle alterations in a 'problem pre-emptive strike' early on..gotta be a good thing.

Thanks.

The guy in the test has grey hair. This is a primary indication of a copper deficiency. Copper is also essential for the production of Collagen which is the elastic stuff in skin, connective tissue AND BLOOD VESSELS.

While this test is very good, if your hair is greying you are deficient in copper and probably a whole list of other essential minerals.
