Hey Folks,

Is Life throwing you rocks??

You know, little inconveniences being thrown your way...

Things that you don't really have any control over but do happen...it just sucks...

And along the way that is life, you just collect them...like a bad bagful of surprises...

Cute. Annoying and discouraging but meh...you collect them and keep on...

And then BANG. That ain't a small itty bitty rock but a huge one...one that knocks you off your feet...your ears are buzzing, your eyes are watering, you see black or blue or red, like a massive punch right on your nose...you're deeply shocked...

Yeah...

An ugly one...

A scary one...

A huge one...

Ouch. Yeah, Ouch with a capital O. I mean...that's gotta hurt right?

I don't know how I'll get over that one...we think...

Sucks. No, SUCKS. BIG TIME...

But we still do get through it, don't we?

We always manage to get through it. No matter how, no matter when...

We are way tougher than what we think.

And then, after we've had a few of those boulders hit us right on our nose, something strange happens...

We build upon it. It's no longer OUCH but BRING IT ON !!!!

C'mon...BRING IT ON !!!!

Here's your rock now, Mister/Mrs Life... !

Got another one??

Life has been throwing me rocks and lately, a huge one. I know there are others like me out there...

This is just to say: We are tougher than we think. Always.

/Ramblings.

Very true my friend. We are stronger than we think.

I've been getting rocks thrown my way for almost two years straight now. It's frustrating and uneasy. But I deal with it and move forward. I can't ever sulk in sorrow..it just doesn't help anything.

Thanks for this little thread. Oh and yes a boulder was thrown at me a few days ago..and go figure by family. I know though, that everything will work out for the best and I just have to go with the flow and not lose my sh*t.

Peace and love to you friend

I'm stronger than my mangers taking the credit for my work...

Boo Yah...

If it makes them feel better..

Whatever...

But I know, I was the one, that the person did the survey.

No one is up beat more than I am.

While everyone is grumpy.

So, take my credit.

or I could be like ford describing the hagro-biscuit to arthur as he made one for him at the vending service.

Hey, hagro-biscuit. The greatest. You'll love these guys. They cook the hoopiest frood food in the whole of the west galaxy. Go on, have a bite. Go on, go on, go on, try it. Your mouth will love you for the rest of your life.

before discovering that after tasting it himself, realises it's horrible and blames the caterers saying that they must really hate the vogons to make them this bad.

Our actual capacity in a situation rarely reflects our fear of it.

I've been thinking alot about fear lately. I think it's just anger without the tools to rectify the issue, turning it into a deep sadness and devastation.

Flip fear the bird, I say. Mostly. Unless it's dark and that thing that's coming at you doesn't have a discernable face and is carrying a machete.

I think this sums up transition from the initial punch on the nose to successful outcome

A friend once told me this.

When you hit rock bottom Cody, the only way to go is up.

I'll never forget that
