16 year old girl arrested, charged with felony for science project

WTH?? This is just crazy. I remember my first experiment as a kid 12-13 years of age with them little red rockets you fill with water and pump it up and it shoots straight up in the air a few hundred feet. After that I got hooked on rocket kits and other RC fun stuff. Kids all around the neighborhood played with spud guns, BB guns, wrist rocket sling shots, blow darts, bows, throwing knives, throwing stars. Hell I remember my 6th grade teacher showing us how to make our own throwing stars in shop class. lol Time sure has changed.

American schools?... Crazy things and brainwashing like this by the "state" is happening all over the globe... Humm, this is not the original video. The original video had real interviews that were done to the children/actors, and for some unknown reason that video has been deleted due to "third party copyrights issues"... I guess the "green lobbyists" found a way to get rid of the interview of the children which shows the even more darker side of the brainwashing being done these days "for the good of all and the planet"...

Obviously this happened because this school's teacher's union doesn't have enough funds. We should raise taxes and pay them more so they stop treating our children (I'm sorry the"community's children" ) like this.

Let me be clear and make no mistake, give school's more of your hard earned money, that will fix these situations...

Group home schooling seems like the best bet at this point.

Young women on ATS, if you want your future spawn to be worth two pence, get a degree in childhood education, marry a good honorable man, and organize a neighborhood homeschooling group and collect club dues.

I meant to write hydrochloric acid and lead bars created the hydrogen gas which was captured into a balloon and then detonated by our 8th grade teacher using a yard stick with a stick match attached to the end. It was just a fun class and our teacher was one of the best, today he'd be labeled a danger to society and locked away.

Back then it was just considered normal learning.

Today everything is a secret and nobody without government credentials is to be trusted with knowledge. Like in the distant past where common folks were not trusted to read or certain books were off limits.

Banning books, it's just the same as burning books or making it illegal to create or visit sites like ATS if they get their way.

They want simple stupid workers and the less capable people support them because they have limited function anyway. Smart people are a dangerous, dumb people are easy to control and don't complain about the multitude of ways you steal the fruits of their labor.

Hahahhahha if they knew what we did as kids in the 70s and eighties they would have locked us up also

This is an outrage. We are told that the school knew nothing of this experiment, but of what importance is that in the long run? Scientific study is not limited by law, to that which is vetted and approved by educational institutions. In fact some of the most interesting discoveries were made, not in labs and classrooms, but through independant experimentation..

What this girl did is no more serious than putting a mint in a bottle of cola, out of sheer curiosity. Curiosity of course is just a word which describes the need a person feels to understand something which currently eludes them. It is the basis of ALL scientific endevour, and she should be commended for her enterprising nature.

By the sounds of the conflicting reports the poor girl used basic chemistry to form a very small controlled explosion and wasn't endangering anyone.

Back when i was at college in 2005 my crazy friend and i carefully spread out and lit 2 lb's of gun powder in the smoking area. The whole college was covered in smoke for about 5 mins. After they found out we were the perpetrators we got a slap on the wrist and told it was a silly thing to do. After which we went and lit up a fat one on the cricket pitch and the caretaker came and joined us.

I hate to repeat others words but really! What's the world coming too?

See that like my old school day experiances. Unless you severly hurt someone, hit a teacher or brought in hard drugs then all you would just get would be a detension or at worst 2 weeks suspension.

Smoking and BJ's behind the bike shed, Joints in the toliets. Exploding deodrant cans and toxic smoke in the science lab. That was what my school was about.

I guess Science just needs to be removed from the school curriculum and then history because that's a lie and might make someone mad and then sports , we don't want anyone hurt, what about English, maybe that will offend someone from another country and don't forget social studies, if its not liberal then its hateful.

When I was in 3rd grade in 1976 I brought my Big Bang cannon to school for show and tell.

My teacher asked me if I had the Bangsite powder to make it work, and when I said yes the teacher took the whole class out to the playground and everyone got to shoot it.

This was in a suburb of Milwaukee (Wauwatosa), not rural America.


My how things have changed.


My grandpa used to tell me that boys would be "knife checked" by the school principle.

And you got in trouble if you DIDN'T have your pocket knife.

This is endemic in our schools.

Example just this monday.

My son was introduced to a kid he had never know . At lunch that kid (we will call him James) tried to trip my son. when my son confronted James James's friend grabbed my son by the back of the shirt and threw my son into the fence . James then proceed to attack my son.

So ,as told to me by the principle, my son was jumped by 2 students for no good reason that has yet come to light ( these are teens)

My son was promptly arrested along with the other 2 students and taken to a juvinile detention center. Where I was told he may be charged with bullying and was suspended for ten days.

This system that has been instituuted is broken . Its everywhere . Not just this isolated case.

As for your son, OK I hear is bad, as is Kansas. I will recommend a web site, I didn't now of they have an OK office but get n that site and research like mad to see what rights he does have and how to protect him, his human rights,

Also to network with other parents dealing with the same thing. That site is H.E.A.L., just google that, it's a teens human rights site, to the left there is tons of research, into the juv system, boot Camps, etc., the abuses, investigations, corrupt courts, you name it. Also, Ablechild.org is another good site, it's more to do with schools trying to force drug. Now with criminal (why schools are Notorious fr charging for the most petty of things) once the child is in the criminal you see then the rights that a child/parent Would have, etc such as fighting force drugging, etc is gone, why the mental health pharma butchers push for these schools to screen and criminalize, you see They want their hands on these kids, as their guinni pigs. Juvenile courts are messed up even more than adult...so you Really have to stay on top of it.

I can't stress enough how important it is to TEACH your children the Human Rights, even those not enforced, what TORT law is, how they can sue, how they can fight for their rights because the system really binds them this way, why I suggest the H.E.A.L. Site to you, it's a group of parents and teens that have fought to keep their children alive, etc, oh having kids arrested for SELF DEFENSE is a very common tactic. It works two ways, one to recruit kids for the pharma death dealers and two, to instill into kids to willingly accept abuse at hands of any authority. Make sure to document Everything, to hire a good juvenile advocate if need be (I would pronto) and to let the system know, you will protect his civil and human rights.
