Carmen Tarleton's husband attackerd her with industrial strength lye burning 80% of her body, doctors had to put her in a coma and perform over 50 surgeries to save her life, , but there was really nothing they could do for her face

Then 4 years later her plastic surgeon at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston made a suggestion. He'd recently done the first facial transplant in the United States, and he thought it might work for her

She had a 15-hour transplant surgery in February, becoming the sixth person in the United States to get a full facial transplant,

Good for her but I hope they can still make it look better

HOLY. Wow. She was such a pretty girl before that monster came along. There are some very sick people in this world. She definitely looks better but yeah, still needs some work. Poor woman.

It kind of looks like they slipped one of those big thick rubber masks over her face

looks better then ever!! So glad they could help. I wonder why hubby poured acid on her?? She must of been something else. Hope he rots in jail
