An article in a British newspaper today asked a question which deserves some kind of response. The headline read How could 59,239,776 people be so
dumb?
As a part of that majority which is considered dumb by this limey #bird, allow me to remind everyone that:
1. We kicked you Brits and your king off of this continent because we didnt like your idea of government and we dont care what you think.
2. We in the majority wonder how 55,704,608 good Americans could have been duped by an effete, European style liberal gigilo.
It's time for the people of the world to embrace what we share in common and permit those of this country to proceed forward......
Let's give it a rest and allow this RE-ELECTED President to move forward and hopefully he will achieve goals mutually appreciated by all.
GOD BLESS AMERICA

why take that attitude against all British? did i say those words? NO!
It was a two bit tabloid who thinks it can sell newspapers with comments like this.
I dont take too kindly about being 'slated ' for something i havent said.
Dont judge a book by its cover, find out whats inside first!

didn't think it was needed based on the liberal whiners that spew this crybaby stuff every ten seconds on every board and network.
I will attempt to retrieve it if you deem it important to the thread...

It was the Mirror newspaper and I quite agree with them. George W Bush is constantly saying dumb stuff and is the butt of many comedians over here. He
is a loose cannon who is a danger to the world.

So let me get this right. You make up a story about a British newspaper writing a story.
Then you use this made up story to insult Britons, Europeans, and American Liberals.
Then you suggest we all move on and unite.
Is that right ?

In fact I admire and respect the Brits for the most part....one of our most steadfast friends throughout the years...
I think its simply time to find our "commonality" amongst one another and move on...
It seems fruitless to constantly beat a dead horse, GWB is our Pres and thats that.... Hopefully as I said he will take these next 4 years to leave a
better world and prove himself worthy.

Quite frankly to take any Mirror newspaper headline is a serious mistake in judgement. The Mirror, The Sun and Sunday Sport are all about producing
"shocking" headlines. I would compare most of their content comparable to The Weekly World News, which I have read and bought while in the US.
Here is a front page story from the Sunday Sport on 29th September 2002.
"Saddam trains 4ft Hamsters to eat Tony Blair" With a picture of Saddam patting a 4ft Hamster on the head. I am happy to scan it in and post it
if it cannot be found online.
As you can see, not exactley serious or meaningful.

What you must understand, is that Americans think that they have only two options. They are the only two presented by the 24 hour news or even local
news.
Bush stinks, but on the other hand, Kerry is in direct contrast to the idea we have built our country and that is a deeply feared threat to what we
hold dear in this country.
Freedom to control our own money. Freedom to own guns. Freedom to...
Bla bla bla. Problem is, is that both parties have gone terribly off track and do NOT represent what they purport to.
What's more facist, forcing people at gunpoint (figuratively or literally) to abid by some bull, or convincing people of the same bull?
Neither, but the latter is certainly much cleaner.

It wasn't too hard to find.
It'll make a great avatar for someone.
My next question is what exactly does this comment have to do with the topic you've raised.
1. We kicked you Brits and your king off of this continent because we didnt like your idea of government and we dont care what you think.

I can never understand insults from people who know nothing about me. Why should I ?
He makes insults about British because British have made insults about him, this is what i find totaly idiotic.
Dont make judgements on all British just because some idiot has made remarks about your country. If the person who made the remarks is known, then
direct the insults to him/her, not to all the Bloody country. Its not fair and it certainly isnt right.

Well I hope Bush is as good as you all seem to think...
The Mirror expressed a view held by the majority of the British people that George Bush is a malevolant force in the world and no one will be safe
until he is removed from office. Not just in terms of war, he wont sign the kyoto agreement and he offers no protection from terrorists; he causes
them by invading countries and irresponsible policies.
The mirror by expressing the opinon reflects the British peoples exasperationa and view that America is trapped in a climate of fear and where scared
into voting for a 'dumb ass Yank'*
*Just returning the favour.

That you apparently are having a bad day, I expressed my appreciation for the Brit's above(which you must have missed)....so with that I will not
continue to play ping pong with you. I assume this is your way of moderating? Your intimidation has worked... I didn't seek a fight nor will I
participate in one.
The forum is your "super-mod"
