Apologies, I did make a mistake back there when bringing Vallee up and my previous post has been edited to reflect that. Anyway, time to leave all this until it's done, I'm not getting into trying to defend this hearing any longer because there might be some decent parts to research in places, I'm just going to do the research when it's all over if I feel the need to.

One thing I did try to do in this thread was defend the hearing itself from people going way over the top about it, but I've failed at that and now I'm off. I had about equal success when I was involved in a thread on socialism a while back on here and the same thing seems to have happened : it just went in circles repeatedly, and that wasn't because socialism itself, as a theory, is wrong, it was because people had too many preconceived and false ideas as to what it was.

Why go around in circles here when I can just research the hearing at a later date instead?

There is evidence showing that if what witnesses say is true about "aliens"- then they are from earth. They have the biological signature of earthlings (upright humanoid bipedal) and any biologist would tell you that is an accident of earthly evolution and not something that should be reproduced on other planets.

Life forms have no law saying they should be humanoid. We could have had intelligent bird people, octopus people, insect people, etc. Humanoid evolution is considered by science to be "earthly" and highly unlikely to happen elsewhere (or even here). It was a biological accident. A fingerprint of our own evolutionary path.

I personally, for the sake of not knowing any other simple way of referring to them at this moment in time, consider them as "aliens."

I am less concerned with terminology then I am about origins, nature and location of what you are calling "aliens". And if the word "alien" alone was my problem, I'd have taken the time to say so.

My issues with what you typed was addressed.

There is "zero" evidence of UFOs coming from space.

I would also like to say, I used to think UFOs were possibly "aliens". Seemed logical. These days I have a wider birth of assumptions, some that even skeptics and woo-woos alike would find it hard to accept.

Nonetheless...it is based in logic and science and research.

You misrepresented him. You directly, in the same sentence, said there was evidence that UFOs come from space and that if there wasn't Vallee was insane or hoaxing people (while showing you didn't believe he was nuts or lying).

We can debate terminology all you want. I don't have any care for terminology. I have a serious care for people jumping to conclusions that ultimately put the UFO debate in one of two teams (both teams I find unlikely).

I do not research with a "outcome" invested in. That would be bad research. I simply weigh evidence.

All I can add is that you at least wait for a response from someone in future before you assume so much.

And I ask anyone to look deeper into this subject than circuses like this conference. They are doing HARM to the subject.

People who put forth only evidence such as declassified military records, testimonies from respectable sources like peer reviewed scientists and REAL ex service personal and commercial pilots.

I would also like to hear what hackers have seen like Gary Mckinnon.

Other evidence I would like to put forces is the huge amounts of missing money and supossed "inefficiancy" of the US goverment. It may not be related but it all looks dodge to me.

Before you go...I would like you to also consider, that defending this conference wasn't a failure. In fact- I think you only think that because you didn't get to protect the conference from the avalanche of criticism that came its way here.

But defending it lead to people talking about it. Posting links to evidence and history of those involved. It lead to people being able to read and see different views that they may not have ever seen due to already belonging to one side of the argument. And in all, it gave people more than just Greer's dishonest agenda to consider.

Don't see your heroic quest as a failure. Instead, see it as catalyst that lead debate towards information from all sides to be posted for members and lurkers alike.

I sure in HELL CAN! Like MANY researchers have stated, it is ALWAYS a bad omen to see a government declassify its documents on the UFO subject.

It shows the government no longer has interest in the subject, is willing to open its files to the public and is ready to ignore it.

To me it doesnt mean they have finnished playing just that they are starting a diffrent round and playing there currnet hand as it is either 1) part of there next game or 2) That hand is now irrevelvent so does'nt matter who see's it.

I play all sorts of card games a statergy games and one of my favorite tricks is disinfomation. And with disinfomation the more true it is the easier it is to run with.

You're saying that the government has spent DECADES looking into this and come to no conclusion? All this time, saying "there's nothing to it"? That's a glaring contradiction that can't be sustained! It makes sense, however, if you acknowledge that there are massive classified projects that funnel literally trillions of dollars into them!

I'm not saying this because Greer tells me so! I've been studying other covert operations by the government - namely support for dictatorships, assassination programs, military torture training, and so on - and I know, and this is historically established, that the government can operate covertly and influence in the lives of hundreds of millions of people worldwide, without any citizen knowing the full truth, without Congress oversight, without media attention! So in fact it makes a lot of sense that this subject in particular - the possibility of an extraterrestrial presence - is very, very well hidden! Much better than stuff like Operation Phoenix, Operation Condor, MKULTRA, nuclear weapons testing on the Moon, etc.

Even today, the US government is engaging in a torture-kidnapping scheme around the globe, using secret prisons and secret judicial opinions, while trampling over international treaties, international law, domestic law and foreign policies! It's not acknowledged by the government, unless someone asks a direct question in some press conference. They don't come out with this information, they HIDE IT.
