Ding Dong! The Witch Is Dead enters chart at two

The Wizard of Oz song, which has been at the centre of an online campaign by opponents of Baroness Thatcher, reached number two after selling 52,605 copies.

Aside from the controversy, Ding Dong! The Witch Is Dead has become the first sub-60 second single to ever make the top 10.

Rival campaign song I'm In Love With Margaret Thatcher entered at 35.

There were a few people on ATS who had voiced anger at the idea that some of us were not remorseful over the death of Margaret Thatcher.

I for one, regret ALL loss of life.

But this doesnt seem to be the case for Brits. I think its safe to say that there were quite a few who were not moved by her passing, which doesnt surprise me.

I would argue that most politicians are generally disliked, if not hated.
