I figure this would fail. Take Americas guns or internet is immediate grounds for Civil War.

Here in Canada, with OpenMedia.ca, we struck down a similar bill twice in 2 years!
They keep changing it slightly, I think is what they're going to do with CISPA, and re-push it.

Sort of like most laws/bills, they push it to the limits and after rejection they reintroduce it with only a fraction of changes being passed.. Yet still this win.

(sorry if this is worded poorly, I've had a rough couple nights)

americans have to remain ever vigilant to the sneaky crap bill makers keep writing.

but the average american is still patting himself on the back for his successful SOPA "protest" and think its all over.

i fear a similar bill will pass soon anyways

From what ive heard, its only "dead" in its current form. It looks like they plan on introducing it in pieces next time.
