Backslash on multiculturalism in Europe and easy access to global jihad info on the web prompts young Muslims from France and other EU states to join the Syrian rebels, Jean-Yves Camus, a specialist on extremism, told RT.

The EU's anti-terror chief, Gilles de Kerchove, is sounding the alarm over the number of young Europeans going off to the Syrian war.

Hundreds of volunteers are already fighting alongside rebels and could pose a serious security threat when they return home, according to the official.

Specialist in extremism at the Institute of International and Strategic Relations, Jean-Yves Camus, shares those concerns, adding that the rise of radicalism in Europe can be also explained by the many conflicts in the Muslim world the West had a hand in.

What... they're getting out of france to go fight in Syria?

Wait... I can hear the French happily chanting La Marseillaise already.

Hmm, now therein might lie a very good strategy for getting radical Muslims out of one's country

Recruit them for global jihad, and them deny th the ability to get back into the country.

How surprising!

Label them terrorist, make everybody think their terrorist - so they become terrorist

Actually, rethinking that - Its not actually surprising.

I wish the Muslims would try a different tack already.

I mean fighiting with arms is one method of defending your belief system or your 'offended dignity'

But it's hardly the best or most intelligent way.

And the war in Syria and other places isn't so much against Islam as it is for Resource-Grabbing (oil, gas etc).

It is idiotic to believe in God who loves his creation and in the same breath pick up arms to kill that same God's other creations. Whatever happened to forgiveness and peace which is in scriptures of nearly all religions?

At the same time, it's weird for someone of one nation to go pick up arms for another nation. As long as we have nations, this makes little or no sense. After all, being part of a nation, we owe that nation and community our loyalty, that includes picking up arms in DEFENSE of that nation. How can someone be a French national and Syrian fighter at the same time?

Second generation European Hindus, Buddhists and Sikhs aren't off trampling around the globe killing people in the name of their religion.

Why is it that everywhere Islam goes there is conflict?

WOT? Let them go and think the terrorists sympathizers, Human rights organisations, liberals, constitution fundamentalists, and plain idiots in EU WOULD NOT protest and scream discrimination that those fighters are not allowed to return to their homes and families?

Don't bet on it. And most of those that went into syria, joined the radical militants groups as it is the only organisation recruiting, and not FSA as FSA formed 90% of all fighters in Syria battlling the air superiority of the HumanSlayer Assad's air forces and non-uniformed barbaric beasts ground units known as the Shiballahs using civilians as shields.

The FSA have their hands full with training their own new military made up mostly of bank managers, cobblers, tailors, teachers, engineers, etc, and do not have the time to handle foreign troops, culture and lingo for better effective co-ordination.

Best the legislators in europe table better laws to tackle the scourge of terrorism and its idealogy. Pleasing the loud and vocal minority whom had been ALLOWED foolishly to set the narrative to fool the majority is a mistake and irresponsiblity that many leaders had made. Let it not be compounded by idiotically embacing stupidities from the loud vocal minority or only deadly consequences upon the majority will ultimately happen.

Rule of law is what protects, progress and evolves nations. Thus those laws proposed have to BE farsighted, and not shortsighted to earn votes and corrupted money, or else, eventually, that society and one's future generations, along the world, will pay the price for such selfish gains if those terrorist sympathizing laws were Foolishly passed.

It is comprehensible for the hot blooded but naive young males to support the fight against the HumanSlayer. BUT such volunteerism MUST be made to and under the Rule of Law mandate of UN, including the Arab League whom is part of UN, which means joing and trainning as an effective international force to protect all civilians and fight the monsters there.

Joing radical militants is only plain stupidity, and to be cannon fodders to be used, brainwashed and misuse with impunity, and worse for the muslims there - it is akin to joining apostates, be anti-Allah and totally against the teachings of prophet Muhammad whom had NOT taught anything about a Caliphate as it is not Allah's will at any time. The radical militants have NO authority from Sunni national leaders, and are wanted criminals.

The religious but naive YOUNG and the opportunity-lacking-death wish seeking older folks must be taught of such truths and facts, and be aware of the consequences.

Have you read the koran? Forgiveness and peace has very little to do with islam. Islam is a death cult. It teaches hatred, and forced conversion or death of infidels. The best a non-muslim can hope for is to be a dhimm and be forced to pay a special tax for the privilege of keeping your head. This is not a religion of peace. This is a cult that considers martyrdom the highest calling possible. This cult glorifies the deaths of it's children in "martyrdom operations" what we call suicide(actually homicide) bombings.

I can't deny that, nor can I answer it

I just knows theres a knock on effect from the clear racism towards muslims.

I think there is a solution to all that. Let the humanslayers slay each other.

It is a lesson the internationalist have yet to master.

You are missing the point. Islam is a combined religious and political system. If they are true believers then loyalty to the 'ummat al-Islamiyah' trumps any notional loyalty to a nation state as the western world understands it.

That is why this happens.

Is it any different to when thousands of young men left countries like Britain and the U.S to volunteer as soldiers in the Spanish Civil War?

...That's why the radical militants are apostates and is harming Islam.

Ummat al-Islamiyah, or Ummah means the collective community of ALL muslims.

But truth is...is the muslim world united today? Not with the sectarian strife that had been going on for 1200 years even going on still today, with the persian infidel hoping that with creating a sneak nuke, he will get all sunnis to bow to him.

Secondly, an Ummah is NOT a Caliphate - of dictator and ther rest servants. An Ummah is a collective of EQUALS. Prophet Muhammad left no heir nor appointed anyone to be king, even though he had all the time to do so. What he taught instead was about - Community - councils of chosen/elected muslim representatives from the muslim world.

Thirdly, are those radical militants and the lapdog preachers hiding in all nations attempting to gain recruits/cannon fodder in any way REPRESENT the COMMUNITY of Islam? NO THEY DON"T. Those militants only represented the devil and their own stupidities and incomprehension of the Koran, and had misled SO MANY innocent young muslims to become demons and slaughterers of innocent humans around our world.

While nations are mostly secular, they do based their laws upon religious principles, that honest atheists cannot deny, for athesists ARE NOT BORN knowing moral and ethical guidelines at birth, but had been exposed to religious societies in their homeland, that they know the differences between right and wrong.

Our Messiah had taught 'Pay unto Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and pay unto the Kingdom of Heaven, what belongs to God". This is a very good guide for religious faithfuls to follow. Loyalty to GOD is our prime directive, and loyalty to nations and the Ummah only secondary, for those are only man-made constructs, and thus NO contridiction, as most nations do follow religious principles, an no man may lay claim to being a divine messenger, for prophet Muhammad had already revealed that he was the LAST one.

Anyone else claiming such or dreams or claiming they ALONE know the Will of Allah or Koran's interpretations like the militants and the Taliban, is a liar and should be held accountable for justice to be served.

There IS a separation between the Ummah and the State. The Ummah, made up of ELECTED muslims representatives of the muslim world -as Islam cares about justice and equality, concerns itself with the Kingdom of Heaven, while the State must concern itself with the present administration of the land, by following the principles, and NOT 7th century fundamentals of the Koran taken out of context.

Prophet Muhammad did not risk and spend his life to make arabs remain barbaric pagants, but to progress and evolve them by teaching them civilisation - moral and ethical guidelines, LAW & ORDER, to grow, progress and evolve.

To return back to 7th century fundamentalism is to regress arabs, and strike a blow, like what the radical militants and the Talibans are doing now, against ALL that the prophet had taught and Allah willed for him and for all arabs for centuries.

Thus my hope that religious young muslims may not be misled anymore, but to search for the truth.

They don't need to, they use race collusion(unfairly helping out others just because of their race, when Native Europeans are actively prosecuted for the same behavior) as their method of genocide.
