A Caesar...or Bloody Caesar is a cocktail created and primarily consumed in Canada. The US has a version "Bloody Mary" but not as good IMO.

Created in Calgary, Alberta in 1969 by Walter Chell to celebrate his opening of a new Italian restaurant.

Ingredients are of course Vodka, hot sauce (Tabasco traditionally but use what you wish) Worcestershire Sauce and the kicker?...Clamato Juice. Yup, tomato juice and clam broth together. It just had to be done.
and is served with ice in a large celery salted rim glass. Usually garnished with a stick of celery or wedge of lime. I like pickled asparagus personally.

350 million Caesars are consumed annually in Canada but surprisingly is virtually unknown outside the Country.

Try it:

* 6 oz Clamato Juice
* 1-1.5 oz Vodka
* 2 Dashes of that Hot Sauce
* 4 Dashes Worcestershire Sauce
* Celery Salt
* Fresh Ground Pepper
* Lime Wedge
* Celery Stalk

I like to double up on all the spices myself. Make it HOT or NOT is my approach.
And the Vodka? Double up as well...

Rim the glass with the celery salt and lime wedge.

For the Canucks...While in Korea I wanted these so bad in a bar I owned because we had a lot of Canadians as customers. What did I do? Made my own Clamato of course! From the tomato juice to the clam broth...Best Caesar ever!

BAM!

See ya on the other side!

Peace

When I used to drink, that was my drink of choice. Extra Tabasco

The least amount of hangover from the Caesar than any other. Plus you get a celery stick, something to munch on.
Sometimes you get a weird bartender that puts a long bean in there though, that's just so wrong :shk:

Well, we used the Caesar as a cure for hangovers...

And the bean? Yup...wrong on so many levels.
