SlaveryFootprint.org

Heard of this website on the Joe Rogan podcast. First i had to check it out, then i had to share. This is hilarious and awsome at the same time.

Apparently i own 34 slaves. Damn, im kind of a prick.

14,500 to 17,500 victims are trafficked in the U.S. each year. Most are women and children forced into the sex industry. Raw materials from slavery include: Copper, Corn, Gold, Nylon, Soybeans, Limestone, Propane

Coal mines, brick kilns and factories in the poorest regions of China operate illegally, using much of China's estimated 150 million internal migrants as slaves. Raw materials from slavery include: Acrylic, Cashmere, Coal, Cotton, Gold, Graphite, Leather, Limestone, Linen, Mercury, Nylon, Pearl, Quartz, Silicon, Silk, Silver, Tin, Tungsten, Wool, Pig Iron, Lead, Lithium, Polyester

Wow, ok. I feel better now. Thats just a few of the bits of information i got. I guess i really need to rethink how i feel and act about a lot of things. Be apart of the solution not the problem.

Now what? Should i change my lifestyle and do it again?

Nigerian gangs run the sex trade within South Africa, sending women to the United States to be exploited. Chinese and Taiwanese men are enslaved in mobile sweatshops that move in and out of Lesotho and Swaziland to evade labor inspection. Raw materials from slavery include: Chromium, Titanium

Yeah, it really is pretty well put together. I wonder if a group of college kids did it as a project? They really put a lot of effort into the overall design.

Could be. I am online almost all day with my job and have never come across a site with that type of UI with the parts moving in as you scroll.....very cool.

I own 11 slaves. Kinda sad I suppose. I like the idea of educating the public through this website, however, don't expect me to stop buying coffee and shaving cream because someone is making it for $0.10/hr.

According to this, 16 slaves work for me. To be honest, I was surprised the number was that high. Certainly makes me think....

I would love for that number to be zero...Perhaps I should slowly start working toward that...

Peace,love and truth.

The web link is mostly feminist inspired bunk, as your assertion of the mass importation of women as sex slaves(a form of feminist hate porn).

theantifeminist.com...

Granted, peonage and near slave labor is a huge problem and there needs to be some kind of tariff to promote higher wages overseas(like a punitive tariff against goods made with cheap or cruel labor). But to infuse feminist myth's in order to keep an irrelevant hate movement "relevant" to it's remaining adherents at the price of legitimate victims, is beyond disgusting.
