According to Google he is a Saint-Andrew's Cross Spider. Non-Poisonous.

Actually... the word isn't Poisonous... it's Venomous...

I replied to this to clear something up..... All spiders are venomous..... it is a matter of to what extent..

Saint-Andrew's Cross is a type of Orb Weaver..

I use to collect Venomous snakes for a anti venom program.

The only thing i used was a snake tong

Snake hooks will get you hurt if you trust them.

Snake hooks are for handling large non Venomous snakes.
snake boots or Snake Guards are also handy
