Out of all the slang I have heard. I find the cockney rhyming slang the hardest to understand.

Yes. In fact you are not supposed to say the rhyming word, making it harder to understand for those not in the know.

For example, Whistle and flute, you drop the flute and just say whistle, the flute being implied.

also slang is fabulous, it keeps our language vital, alive and fun... in the uk you can tell where someone is from by accent and slang, in some cases even which part of town someone comes from.

The Sex Pistols were taken to court over the name of their album, "Never Mind the Bollocks".

I was speaking to a bloke in a pub on the Isles of Scilly (300 miles away from midlands)who was from the midlands and hadn't been back there for 37 years, and he could pinpoint where I came from within half a mile, just from my voice

it's suggested that the Black Country dialect from this little part of the west mids is closest to how shakespeare would have spoken.

also, what do you call a china man from between Stourbridge and Cradley?

I don't think Shakespeare actually made up all those words himself.
What dictionaries record as "first use" is the first person to put the word down in writing, which is not the same thing at all.
