My idea would be to somehow change the polarity of the upper layer of our atmosphere so that it is opposite to the charged (+) particles from the suns
This would I think cause the rays to be repelled by our atmosphere,and prevent the harmful radiation get through.
Thats what our magnetosphere is meant to do,but is not strong enough to keep out the mega solar storms.
Maybe HAARP or a similar system could be used to acheive this?
