Will Obama succeed in gun control challenge?

What we NEED to do is stop passing a new piece of legislation every time some nutjob decides to break the existing law.

Those who feel compelled to start clamping down on people & telling them what they can & can't do every time there's a tragedy will still have plenty to do even if a new law isn't passed - just think of all the laws already out there that are not being adequately enforced

I recommend the ninny busybodies go to town on those first - no sense having more if you can't handle what you already have

Laws don't stop squat. Drugs are illegal, and almost everyone I know smokes that green stuff. It's already illegal for a criminal to have a gun and yet they have them...

You wan't to stop mass shootings start at where the problem is...which is culture. I can turn on the TV right now and see somebody shooting someone. I can listen to a rap song that talks about shooting cops. Then people wonder why there are people actually wanting to do these things

As to the OP's question "Will Obama succeed in gun control challenge?" the short answer is no.... but he and his cronys will chip away from all sides, any way they can, to attack the Second Amendment. By subterfuge or closed door tactics, maybe not directly at the Second Amendment, but at ways of trying to weakening it. All of them will be unlawful and deceitful, but he will endeavor to institute his Socialist agenda and destroy our US Constitution.

And as another poster commented with the feeling that 0bama wouldn't finish his four years...... that's anybodies guess. He does seem to have a huge closet full, full, full of skeletons. And more than one, likely treasonous.

Three years and a little over 7 more months.... Can America survive this administration? It's 50-50, but I'm beginning to think that 90% 0bama's talking about are those that are aghast and dissatisfied with him. I think thats more likely where that number came from.
His ambitions have cost America Dearly, and might take years or decades to undo.

He didn't succeed because most people no longer trust him. Mostly because of "we have to pass it to find out what's in it". What the country needs and very badly is a law controlling the way laws are written. Make laws that an average citizen could understand. Nothing beside the actual law can be included in the final version, ie: adding seat belt use to military funding bill or giving themselves raises in a bill to finance road repairs. Simplified speech and no flowery prose to pad the size of the bill. Everyone who votes on a bill must sign an affidavit stating they have read and understand it before voting. No loopholes all laws apply to all people equally.

i do no think any bills regarding guns will pass, i was for background checks ( although it would only be a minor inconvenice for psychos and felons) the reason i dont want them to get the bill passed is because i truly think its only to have be registered and later try to take them away from law abiding people, i have listened to what biden had to say about guns, and i read about feinsteins bill... i dont think i should have to use a double barrel shotgun haha

i want to have an advantage or be on par with whoever is trying to do me harm, also only thing they did by bringing up this gun control is having more people buy guns

If most people don't trust him, then why is he about to get another 4 years to screw the people over that don't trust him ? It either proves how rigged the game is, or how gullible MOST people are.........or a combination of both [which IS what we have today] !
