Another day in North Nigeria

Another day passes by without more violence in Northern Nigeria in a battle between the govt forces and the terrorist cowards Boko Haram, while our fellow innocent human brothers and sisters there lose their lives.

The Nigerian govt must realize by now that its '2 prong' strategy isn't working and should correct those errors to resolve the problems:-

1. Military might - Boko Haram is an idealogy and cannot be killed by bullets alone, proven in our fight against terrorism for the past decade. Yet, Nigeria continues this folly and worse - mentally untrained soldiers bent on rampage and revenge, falling further into the trap by BK of alienating the civilian population.

2. Peace dialogue - Nigerian President Johnny Goodluck claims he wants dialogue and even willing to offer amnesty to the humanslayers BK to end their violence.

Problem is - Boko Haram are led by cowards, afraid to die and will never have the guts to expose their faces for identification, and thus dialogues AIN'T gonna happen. They will not trust sending the brainwash rank and file as they cannot make decisions in the authoritarian and micro-managed BK organisation.

BK rather hide cowardly away, and attempt to use the terrorist tactic of scaring the few inorder to dominate the many, in the hope that the govt will give up and go away, and let the terrorist rule to set up their Taliban styled tyrant radical militant regressive state.

The farce and loss of innoccent lives had gone on long enough. The solution lays not in peace or dialogue, but rather the capture of enemy combatants, and using ALL and ANY means to make the reveal their contacts and secrets.

Many claim that the radical militants have no central command, and operate independently in cells, with only 2 or more within the cell and have no knowledge of other cells.

But the truth is, there IS a central command for coordination, planning and funding for weapons inorder that the organisation grows, as proven by its large scale attacks with heavy weapons.

All the govt needs is the live capture of one BK combatant, and make him squeal to spill the beans on the next guy. Rinse and repeat, through investigative work, that cell and then the entire BK network WILL be exposed and be eliminated.

There are 2 ways to deal with the terrorist animals, as they had shown no mercy or compassion for the innocent, neither does mankind need to reciprocate anymore. Hard way - torture, or soft way - Islamic rehabilitation.

The soft way will work better, as the realities and truths of Islam can overcome the lies that Osama, Khameni and the Muslim Brotherhood had been spewing. Most of the rank and file BK fighters are geniune muslims but had only been misled by the apostacy and blasphemies of the leaders, whom are only using religion to further their own ambitions and not for the glory of Allah.

Thus, the captured rank and file BK member can be set right, by using pyschologists, as well as more critically, honest and genuine WIDELY educated Islamic scholars to turn him around and help in the fight against the apostates whom had misused him by getting him to reveal who and where those apostates are.

Another critical issue would be the end of corruption, use the wealth of oil to benefit all, including the north in social expenditure espacially in education and oversight of muslim preachers, because the social conditions in the north is one of the reasons why the youths were so easilly fooled by a religion that was meant for peace but twisted by ignorant contextual fundamentalists and radicals to kill innocent others in an illegal war declared by themselves and not the head of the nation, something which prophet Muhammad have never taught his followers or even condone.

If BK and its master - the radical militant network, takes control of the north, it will not be any better but only worse, as the Malian muslims found out, and any muslims, not the bootlickers, in other failed states ruled by that network would attest the same.

The fight against BK can be won if the right strategies are used. The insignificant nobody me is no genius, only a simple ordinary human, and what I wrote here is only something that many others far more intelligent would offer and more.

Nigeria needs to stuff the nationalist pride aside and tap into the many other talents in brains and brawns WORLDWIDE. The fight against terrorism is INTERNATIONAL, and not local, and with the best in brains and brawns, BK and even the entire radical militant network international, is of NO MATCH for mankind to deal with. win totally one day and see the end of the horrendous loss of further precious innocent human lives.

Nigerian president declares emergency in 3 states during 'rebellion'

Nigeria's president declared states of emergency Tuesday for three states, blaming "terrorists" aimed at "rebellion" who have caused "fear among our citizens and a near breakdown of law and order in parts of the country."

It is not enough to just send troops in. It's not gonna resolve anything without the proper mechanisms to achieve success on aims - to destroy the radical militants once and for all. Bullets alone cannot kill an ideology. Only an honest one can kill it.

1. The authority should invite inter-faith consultants into the country, to work with the religious clerics in those states and the countries. Many of those nigerian clerics are often only villagers with litte education and knows little even of the Koran except recitation, and not comprehend its full meanings, and thus misinterpretations abound which resulted in the ability of outside forces to make use of them to radicalize nigerian youths into Boko Haram.

Those youths do not have the ability to gain mass recruits if not for the misinterpretation of the Koran to twist minds.

Therefore those clerics and community leaders must be identified and re-educated.

2. The military, at best, are only symbols of deterrence, to prevent mass attacks as their presence is enough to make the militants think twice about killing inncents in broad daylight in the open.

It needs intelligences, to weed out WHO the leaders are and WHERE they are. The militants do not operate alone. The suicide bomber may be one man, but his organisation is more than one.

Thus, they need to recruit intelligence agents from those provinces so that they can blend in easier, to track and report on the militant's activities. There will be a few more agents to verify their sources to ensure reliability. And they should be promised a reward of a new life for them and their families, close cousins, etc in a new country when the war against terrorism in Nigeria is won.

3. Build a better, bigger and more secured prison to hold those terrorists captured, and throw the keys alway. They made their choice, and the consequence is to be remove from society - forever.

Let the human rights activists, and the terrorists parents scream all the want.

The cries from the innocent victims slaughtered by the terrorists and their families are louder and daily. We mankind can only show mercy to those whom will show mercy to us. Let us not be egalitarianly foolish, but be intelligently practical. Terrorists are not common criminals capable of rehabilitation, and should be remove from society if they refuse to surrender now, but only determined to slaughter all.

Without more violence? Or with?

Saying that Boko Haram are cowards is just pure emotion. Boko Haram are extremists who want full islam in Nigeria. The leader seems to be Al-Qaeda. As with all terrorist groups the leader appears while the active members just do the killing. I don't think their afraid to die.

BK rather hide cowardly away, and attempt to use the terrorist tactic of scaring the few inorder to dominate the many, in the hope that the govt will give up and go away, and let the terrorist rule to set up their Taliban styled tyrant radical militant regressive state.

Yes this seems to be building. I wouldn't tempt them. Boko Haram could 'hide' and just occasionally bomb for Nigeria to exist in about the same state. The moment that Boko Haram starts to act like an actual militia and revolt is the moment Nigeria has problems. Nigeria is right to get their military involved.

The farce and loss of innoccent lives had gone on long enough. The solution lays not in peace or dialogue, but rather the capture of enemy combatants, and using ALL and ANY means to make the reveal their contacts and secrets.

I agree and so does the president as he seems to have declared a state of emergency.
Sounds like Boko Haram is trying to bring about a violent Civil war which will set Nigeria back to the dark ages.

Boko Haram are cowards when it comes to the context of meeting for dialogues. They don't wanna be identified and prefers to hide behind youtubes to show their cowardice. These are not rebels or freedom fighters.

Civil war will happen only if the masses rebel. Fortunately, nigerians are not about to go into rebellion just for the sake of a minority's misused religion. Boko Haram are only loud, and is a minority, can be dealt with if the right strategies are used.

Military option of guns ablazing alone will not work.

There is more to the Art of War, and it begins in one's mind, not in one's gun. May President Goodluck Johnnie uses it. He's gonna need it. Both brains and luck.

Libya/Syrian Rebels are/were NOT freedom fighters. They are/were NOT the majority, they were the minority. And now if you were to book a plane flight over to Libya you would realize that the so-called rebels which number in the high thousands control millions of Libyans through fear and terrorism.
Heck humanitarian aide can't even be provided withought 3 brits being raped in front of their father.

Same thing is being done in Nigeria with Boko Haram. You say Civil war can only happen if the masses rebel. Sorry thats just not the case. Civil war can happen if Boko Haram scare, maim, and recruit enough guys to do their bidding.
This could be the next Kony:

If the military gets heavily involved it may lead to Civil war.

1. Let's leave the Libyan or any other rebellion conflict out of this thread, as they are different situations, with different stats, let alone unsubtanstiated conspiracy theoratical stupidities, that resulted in its eventual conclusion. No nation or conflict is the same, and it would be a great mistake to judge one past situation as going to be the same for another, a mistake fools make, more so with wild unsubstantiated claims.

2. There will not be a civil war if President Goodluck Johnnie, the supreme commander of a martial law decree of the 3 affected provinces, plays his cards right, but surrounding himself with CAPABLE thinkers, and not CORRUPT officials with an eye out for personal gain.

Boko Haram group is but only a small but explosively loud minority whom depends on the instrument of FEAR to get the masses bow to their demand.

Unfortunately for them, this is old school and outdated. Mankind had long been numbed to terrorism, as proven by the Boston affair whereby the public rushed to save innocent victims, regardless if there was another bomb or not.

Again it was proven in Pakistan when 60 million citizens showed the middle finger to the Pakistan Taleban whom had warned they will kill voters, and did kill. However, the terrorists were no match for 60 million humans whom no longer allows themselves to be cowed by fear or threats.

It will be the same for Boko Haram if they think they can put fear into the resiliant and brave Nigerians. A bomb goes off, and they will continue with life after picking up the pieces, and DEMAND for the heads of the pepertrators, for justice to be served.

As for them being able to recruit, this is one area which idealogy MUST come into play. Boko Haram itself is riddled with factions on what exactly is shariah law and argues within themselves over it. This is because they had misinterpretated, or allowed arab radical militants whom equally had misinterpretated the Koran and resulted only in mass confusion.

The potential recruits and current confused members and their families in Boko Haram only need to be made known the truth of Islam - the religion of peace, by honest men from the enlightened inter-faith councils, to deny support to the Boko infidels.

Without support and isolated, Boko Haram, whom are cowards as they sought to hide amongst the civilian population in civilian attire, becomes only a battle of attrition, of which they will lose. The international radical mitants itself faced recruitment problems from France in Mali and UK in Somalia and will not have troops to spare for Nigeria.

As mentioned, this is no civil war, as long as the supreme commander president Goodluck Johnnie plays his cards right, FOR ONCE. Battles are not for children to play with and politics are not for bleeding hearted fools to meddle around with. His role is BOTH and if surrounded by capable proven humans whom he can listen to for decisive actions on both fronts, he should succeed.

At least 10 terror suspects dead in Nigerian military offensiveoffensive

Today, the Nigerian military forces had battled with the BK ground, with 10 terrorists dead and 65 others captured in the vicinity of the battle.

Secretary of State John Kerry, a member of the most powerful nation on Earth and leader of the Free world, had voiced concerned over supposed 'military abuses', and rightly should in order to remind the Nigerian forces to ensure the proper human rights protoccol were adhered to, so that the useless and biased human rights groups cannot again scream abuses freely when they had never bothered about 'why' some bad situations occur.

The loud and vocal minority are yet again at work over supposed 'military abuses'. May they realized that when talks become impossible after every overtures by the govt, and after 3000 innocent nigerian men, women and child were slaughtered by BK, then violence becomes inevitable to end the slaughters by animals hiding amongst the civilian population.

With an imposed martial law and curfew, armed combatants wandering around the streets are more easily identified, and be held accountable, differentiating them from law abidding citizens.

Once in custody, they will have to prove their innocence for breaking curfew laws or even owning guns, If they cannot explain satisfactorily, they will be given time to do so - all the time in prison under lock and key, forever if need be.

And as for the rest of the population, support for the military and govt effort is needed, if they want martial law to end quickly. Both the masses and the authorities do share the same end - to end the slaughters, pain, suffering and inconveniences. Information on Boko Haram will be most welcomed. There is no way BK can provide for the masses in religious, secular or any other way except by repression. They themselves don't even know what they really want, ignorant of true islam, and even how to achieve it without causing only more bloodshed.

Best the masses wake up and keeps a watchful eye and listening ear. It can all end peacefully and quickly, but support is needed, by both the masses and the religious to the authorities.

A couple of months ago I was short-listed for a vacancy in Nigeria.

After a bit of soul searching I decided to withdraw my application solely due to the activities of Boko Haram and the internal state of affairs in Nigeria in general.

When I agreed to allow my CV to be forwarded obviously the financial renumeration was a consideration but I also viewed it as an opportunity to continue my own personal development both on a professional and personal level and to help in some small way to improve the local economy etc.

Nigeria is slowly being destroyed by large Western multi-national oil companies, internal corruption and the activities of Boko Haram and other extremist groups and organisations.

Nothing much is reported here in the UK by MSM and when it is it tends to be discreetly tucked away in a corner or at the bottom of a News page.

No-one really cares -'the west' both fears accusations of neo-colonialism if it interfere's and fear's change and increased awareness of the environmental damage that is being done to the Niger Delta whilst it enjoy's obscene levels of profit from Nigeria's oil.

And as usual it is the ordinary, everyday people, regardless of race, who suffer the most.

Apparently I'm not the only one who feels the same - I heard recently that the vacancy is still open.

Today, it was reported that the Nigerian army had came across and destroyed many of Boko Haram's well equipped camps in the north-east such as field hospitals, trainning grounds and weapons caches, in its military campaign against BH.

Campaign update

May they not destroy it totally, because VITAL EVIDENCES lays in capturing those camps intact - they will lead to CRITICAL INFORMATION on who had been funding and supplying them weapons, construction materials, medical equipment and even the medical staff.

All such information lays in its documents, serial and lot numbers, and can be traced, even if they are bought from medical or army surplus stores. It is one step up for intelligence gathering. Knowing who funded and supplied them will help to capture them and cut off such aids, as well as WHO had been teaching them by making those funders spill the beans, as no rich man will freely give funds without being influenced.

The militant clerics whom preached that a new war against the world by using lone wolves are only preaching through their arses, blowing hot air of farts into jobless, hopeless and uneducated youths to die so that these clerics would gain power.

The lone wolf is never effective to advance any causes. As one or just a few, they can be easily eliminated, and even have their deeds NOT reported so that propaganda effect fails, as killings are nothing new and is just another crime on the statistic board of world affairs, BUT it would most certainly alert the authorities to dig out WHO was the mastermind behind it to send an explosion over to him as a gift in return.

To create an effective campaign where the losses of lives are more to gain audiences, it would mean only MORE preparations and equipments to conduct such a strike. And who will provide them as well as keep something this big quiet, more so in these greater awarness times?

Even the IEDs that the sunni apostate Taleban used in Afghanistan to bomb innocent folks had been traced - its radio triggering device was found to have been exported from a company in south-east Asian nation paid by Iran. The trader was tracked, he confessed and was charged in court and his trading books were a treasure trove of evidences.

Thus, may the Nigerian forces be more efficient in intelligence gathering. If they lack the tech know-how to trace accounts and trade, they can apply to UN to assign well informed professionals in such fields to do the job. There is no loss of face, as war on terrorism is an international fight. To do it alone ineffectively, will only cause loss of precious lives.

Nigeria: Hezbollah armoury discovered in Kano city

.An armoury belonging to the Lebanese group Hezbollah has been discovered in northern Nigeria, the West African nation's army and spy agency has said.

Three Lebanese nationals have been arrested, an army spokesman, Brig Gen Ilyasu Isa Abba, said.

The cache, including rifles, anti-tank weapons and an RPG, were found in a warehouse in the city of Kano, he said.

Finally the Nigerian intelligence folks are getting the speed. But much more still needs to be done.

Some naived had claimed that the Hizbollahs, which is only an arm of Iran's military unit are shias and yet why would they support the radical sunni Al Queda branch Boko idiots, which doesn't make sense.

Perhaps the naive should ask also WHAT was the REAL reason on WHY did Hizbollahs support sunni palestinians in the now realized disguise mockery of muslim unity for the past decades in their struggle for statehood in its fight against Israel whom the Hizbollah loudly claimed had murdered sunnis?

Palestinians had now woken up, at least most of them, to being tragically and brutually USED by Khamenei to distract centuries old sunni anger and fight against the shias, so that he could quietly build up his nukes as a form of deterrent and power for Islamic supremacy.

Many of palestinians now realized that the men, women and children used in the fight as shields were not to protect palestinians, BUT to protect only Khameni, who would have kept such killings going on, if not his pet Humanslayer Assad had not slaughtered sunnis by the tens of thousands, proving finally he never did cared about this so called 'unity' but only a ploy to screw the sunnis.

Meeshal finally woke up and left Iran in disgust. He had been made used of for decades, continuing the struggle when even PLO Arrafat wanted peace for his people, and was murdered, not by Israel, but those closest to him - Iran, whom wanted the struggle to continue on and on.

Khameni cares not if a sunni baby is slaughtered. It means one less sunni to deal with later. He cares not if one nigerian baby is bombed to bits. It means one less of humankind to deal with later.

And thus, his footprints around the world, pitting the foolish sunnis to wage war with the west and killing each other, even in Nigeria. And Bokos are such fools. Anyone can wrap a turban around his head and claim he is a sunni, when he is the devil himself, ready to give matches to light up the fire of senseless slaughters.
