Then you go and read this, the uber rich protecting the uber rich. How livid must you feel?

Even if it wasn't made public by the politicians beforehand to their most generous "friends", anyone outside of Cyprus could have withdrawn or transfered any amount of assets from the foreign branches of the Cyprus' banks.

Therefore, this was a punch in the face of local Cypriots.

I also heard reports that the London branches of the biggest Cypriot banks were allowing withdrawals the entire time that the government of Cyprus was deciding how badly to sodomize their constituents.
