Tony is one of my favorites. But you see this with even him, people get frustrated and discontent with what he says. All he is doing is bringing the convo back to the silence that they are trying to find through meditation, God, spiritualism... whatever, and they ironically don't like that. People want answers, but they don't want the answers that put an end to their searching. They are in love with their searching because they have identified it with life itself. So I guess all you, we, can do is continue to lead them back to the end and wait for them to grow tired of rejecting it. You do a great job at this.

How true this is! The ego/mind does its job so well. It looks for myriad loopholes, raises endless doubts, and finds one excuse after another to avoid facing that single answer which threatens to still the relentless restlessness of the striving mind.

Of course it's true, because we don't have the answers to life's most baffling questions. Some may think they have an inkling, but it's only theory, so back to the search.

The question and the answer is right here but the human condition is to seek elsewhere.

I love Tony - he tells it like it is. His talks make me laugh so much.

I don't have answers.
You are the question and you are the answer - but what are you?
Know thyself.

You did ask. I am not going to change the message because it is true - would you rather I told lies just because it would be a different message?

It is not 'my' way.
'I am' is the way - the truth and the life.
The human condition is 'I will be' and 'I was'.
Realize 'I am'.

And if you feel that way - why ask?

As Openlocks has stated - this message has been around for thousands of years..

I've always enjoyed your posts, a lot of wisdom in them. But I'll tell you something... this wisdom has been around for thousands of years, and yet still humanity has not "awoken" to its truth. In fact, in percentage to population I would say even less people are aware of this. Not saying don't continue your message, you are obviously in love with it and that is great. Just don't allow other peoples confusion of this fact get you down... I know it has for me many times.

Peace.

It is not 'my' message or 'my' way.

What exactly are you hoping to find? Do you have any idea what it is that you are looking for?

That is the way it should be, I believe.

I like the eastern saying, "when the disciple is ready, the master appears".

If you are not ready for a particular answer or way, then that answer will not resonate with you, it will not appear true. The reverse also happens. If you are ready, then that answer or way reverberates so strongly, you cannot help but embrace it.

I like that quote and I wish to find that which I am ready to embrace, not before.

This is an interesting quote that I hope makes some people think.

"Know thyself" - a maxim as pernicious as it is odious. A person observing himself would arrest his own development. Any caterpillar who tried to "know himself" would never become a butterfly. ~André Gide, Nouvelles Nourritures
