No conspiracy or doominess here, just a cool picture I saw and instantly thought of this website.

Check it out.

Awesome picture! It shows how small our planet truly is in the universe. I also would like to add it would be cool to be on Mars. Even though you would have to have a space suit.

It gives a lot of perspective indeed, just looking at it makes you think we and just about everything we know are on that small ball of light...

For those who don't use Facebook:

EDIT: Nevermind, I logged out of Facebook and tested the original link, it works regardless.

That's one of my unrealistic fantasies...To look up into space, and enjoy the night's sky from the surface of the different planets in our solar system.

Sigh...

Thanks for sharing!

Here in the UK I consider myself lucky when we can see our own solar system.

Just wondering why there is a pixelated box around the planets. Is that normal I'm not into photography .

Oh well, that's that fantasy humped then. Thanks... I guess.

A good quote from that link

The picture is no less beautiful because it isn’t real. In fact, if someone believes it is real then it might as well be real in this case. For them it holds all the same magic that a ‘real’ picture would, because they don’t know the difference.

Don't let the debunking dissuade us!
Lets still imagine how awesome it'd be!

I agree, it is a nice perspective.

But i'm the kind of guy who likes knowing what is true or not. And even if this picture could act on my imagination i cannot close my eyes and accept anything as a truth. It won't be honest with myself.

But if this kind of pictures can bring some peoples to look more deeply in astronomy it could be a good thing.

It literally amazes me the way people just believe this whole mars thing. There is no rover folks, hate to break it to you. It is all fake, and some of you folks just swallow it right up. Lets worry whats happening on our planet before we dig in on another one.

What amazes me is the way that people go into threads and "confirm" to everyone that every little thing is a conspiracy.

The Rover is real. I have followed it's progress.

Now I'm sure you're aware of the popular ATS trend that it's your place to prove that it's fake, or GTFO, as it where.

Can't even share a cool looking picture on here these days..
