I know why NASDAQ went down.

It was caused by an internal hardware/software bug in the SuperMontage system, between Euro and US systems.

Here is a snapshot of a top secret document of that part of the architecture.

I will not discuss this matter further, for obvious security and financial impact reasons. The situation is bad enough as it is.

I feel that the public is at least entitled to an explanation since the "they" aren't releasing one in a timely fashion.

It's a hard pill to swallow, so I can see why they would be reluctant.

Just remember, you heard it here first!

How can that be a snapshot of a top secret document when I found the same document on this website click here
It seems to be from a pdf file titled DataStager: Scalable Data Staging Services for Petascale Applications
from 2009 possibly and is located on page 7 of the PDF.

Wow, let me apologize for these people. I don't know them, but I feel responsible. I'm sorry they keep bashing you about your grammar. I just joined this site, but now I feel like leaving. I, personally, couldn't figure out how to light an Astronaut's fart so I guess you have to be a "super" intellect to participate here and not get lambasted. Yours is a perfectly good story.
Sorry, man.
Love ya, Bro.

Well that's fine and all but even if it references something factual and real my issue is his claim that it was a snap shot of a top secret document. Since it came from a website and a PDF file created for a 2009 symposium or get together for computing, it shows that once again the OP is posting stuff claiming its one thing and being found out its not.

=====

One of my esteemed colleagues noted something out of whack with my earlier comment.
He says that is require TWO exaflops to run a whole brain emulation at current
human brain-levels which will EQUAL the parallel processing power of the human brain.
Since it takes X number of bytes to represent a single neuron and X number of
communications port representations for the about ten thousand possible
connections between each neuron in a local processing group, the current 100 to 200 petaflop
estimate has been woefully underestimated...so I must defer to said computational neurologist
in terms of my original estimate. ITS NOW 2 EXAFLOPS to fully emulate a PhD level brain!

THis Ultra guy is testing and teasing us....he`s part of a Cyberwarfare class currently
being TRAINED AT or actually HIRED at the NSA`s northwest listening and technical facility
of Yakima Research Station/Echeleon listening post near the Fred G. Redmon Bridge,
also known as the Selah Creek Bridge.

Type these GPS location coordinates into google maps:

46.681707 -120.356267

I suspect he`s doing Online Personification tasks which are class assignments
to create an online personality which is used to further an assigned agenda,
be it student political organization, simple trolling, corporate or government
public image management.

The end-game is training oneself to create and manage an online personality
so that simple military information gathering, economic espionage, commercial
spycraft or political manipulation is the ultimate end-goal.

It's one of the games we play!

Again, My Young Padawan.

"Do or do not... there is no try!"

...

You're trying too hard...let the FORCE flow within you! Make it up as you go along.
Allow the Force of YOUR Mind to create the online personality you so desperately seek to create!

There's a commercial complex in Berlin, Germany that has one-way elevators.
They go in a loop where the elevator are like ski gondolas going GOING UP one
corner of the building and then transported horizontally (where users get on)
to the other corner of the building where it then goes down, transports back
across to go back up on the upwards loop again. They do this to have HUGE
interior floor spaces with NO CENTRAL elevator column since some of the
tenants have multiple floors with inter-floor stairwells thus the elevators
are continuous-run at the corners of the building. The building is near
the BMW Tower in Berlin and seems it's Swiss technology borrowed
from the ski lift industry.

Uh, no. This is like saying that we can gather 150 kilograms of protein, fats, sugars, a lot of water in a barrel, and maybe we'll have a 7'6" Rambo ultrasoldier pop out.

There's some additional configuration required.

High-performance computing with machine learning & AI research is progressing but strong adaptable general-purpose AI is a century or four away. It's not known how much fidelity a connectionist simulation needs. Neurobiologists continue to find that even individual neurons are more complex and 'smarter' than previous models suggested.

As i have stated earlier, I have had to revise my earlier estimate of 100 to 200 petaflops
to almost 2 EXAflops (2000 petaflops) of computer horsepower in order to provide an
object-oriented connectionist platform for artificial neuron simulation IN SOFTWARE.

Computers are inherently "computational" which ANY OTHER PLATFORM can be emulated
on almost ANY computing platform at a high fidelity save for speed-of-operations.

THE RAW computational speed of the human brain is about 100 to 200 petaflops
BUT since we need to EMULATE those meatware connections in software, the required
SPEED/computer horsepower of the emulator MUST be scaled to in order to MATCH the
equivalent meatware abilities.

Think of it like VMware where you are trying to run a Windows-8 session on a MAC.
I need MORE RAW horsepower in the MAC in order to run Windows at the equivalent
speed of a $500 Best-Buy PC...so regarding our brains, since we have SO MANY MORE
connection/communications ports we MUST SCALE the actual raw computer horsepower
UPWARDS so that our EMULATED human brain will be equivalent to a 200 Petaflop
PhD level brain. However, in order to do that we NOW NEED 2 EXAFLOPS of raw computing
horsepower plus the neuro-emulator software in order to GET a PhD level brain.

The basic reason of this disparity of CPU-based brain emulation software vs. meatware horsepower
requirements is caused by the BASIC differences in OPTIMIZATION between the two platforms!

Our brain is HEAVILY OPTIMIZED on a molecular level for massive connectivity at the neural level
and our IBM Blue Gene MEGABRAIN XY computer is merely a bunch of Power-8 CPU's networked
together on an INEFFICIENT crossbar backplane...ergo, more CPU horsepower is required in order
to achieve the equivalent Meatware performance levels.

And at this point, for EFFECTIVE human-level intelligence, we only need to emulate
higher-order connectivity in order to offer significant advances in GENERAL human-equivalent
(or better) reasoning and executive decision making abilities on a modern supercomputer.

It's a pity we have to spend 2 to 4 billion dollars just to
emulate a 4-year $100,000 PhD program student, but again,
the time frame for BASE HARDWARE HORSEPOWER increases
which will allow supercomputers to get cheaper and smaller
is short enough that I am CONFIDENT that by the year 2040
that it STARTS makes FINANCIAL sense to MASS produce
portable PhD's by the millions at less than $1000
per digital PhD! That's only a little more than
25 years away to achieving realistic and useful-to-humans
Artificial Intelligence on a cost-effective basis.

AND I think the catalyzing technology will be 3D stacks of
carbon-nanotube circuitry embedded onto plastic substrates.
And the reasoning behind that statement is that you can literally
GROW nanotubes by the trillions and that such 3D stacked circuits
which network together general 64-bit or 128-bit CPU/GPU technology
at a level that is equivalent to a 4 to 8 EXAFlop supercomputer in something
the size of a beer keg!

I would LOOOOVE to have 1000 multi-disciplined science-oriented
digital PhD's working on my projects....AND....that time is coming
sooner than you think !!!

As far as high performance computing goes, the only comment I have there, is that the NSA has the ability to crack (almost) any encryption, from a depth of 2048bit on down.

If you think they can't do it, then you are the one who is dead wrong!
Just because you don't believe in gravity, jump off a building and discover it for yourself, it exists and so is their ability to crack those encryptions.

Yes I know, it's quite embarrassing how they discuss the technical details of their backend critical systems on the google and interwebs like this. As if foreign countries wouldn't be reading them, such as North Korea.

But, would you have been able to find it without me having posted it? and then correlated it to an event that occurred 4 years later?

Actually, on this point I HAVE TO AGREE with Ultra since just a few KM from me in Vancouver,
is a famous Canadian company called DWave ...

See Weblink:
www.dwavesys.com...

and Wiki:
en.wikipedia.org...

Which can use 128 Qbit or 512-qbit Quantum Computers to BREAK the common
256-bit AES or Triple DES encryption standards now in use.

The key technology is the FACTORING of the large Intermediate keys (i.e. huge signed integer values)
using ALL STATES AT ONCE computation which Quantum Computers CAN DO !!!!!!!

In fact the large the number of the Q-bits (i.e. Quantum Bits or spinning Xenon, Argon or other noble gas
nucleii held in a quantum well or vacuum chamber), the FASTER the key-breaking that can be done.
Typically a 512 Q-bit should be able to BREAK a 256-bit key in less than an HOUR on a practical basis.

Anything beyond 1024-Qbits (Qbit = Quantum Bit) would break it in SECONDS or less!

Even what was once THOUGHT to be Quantum Computing resistant encryption technology
such as Elliptic Curves is NOW BREAKABLE by Quantum Computers at higher Q-bit depths
by ESTIMATING the periodicity of the curves WITHIN a finite field to arrive at a sub-set
of viable curve point ranges which can then be broken by simple all-states-at-once computing.

See weblink:
en.wikipedia.org...

You use a version of Shor's Algorithm to BREAK ECC:
en.wikipedia.org...

Our ONLY defence against quantum computing for encryption is:
Lattice and Multi-variate crypto

See link:
en.wikipedia.org...

So I do have to agree, in order to defend yourself against
DWave Quantum Computers (which the NSA have bought!)
is to have a key-bit length of AT LEAST 4-times greater than
the Q-bit depth of the most powerful quantum computers known.

So for you crypto-newbies...it's 8192 bits for now to stay ahead of the NSA!
