A whole day later the announcement the Maj. Gen. Joseph D. Brown IV and his wife died in a plane crash in Virginia. Maybe the media was just to busy but if you want check out his biography. This man was steeped in national security issues especially with Russia and Nuclear defense systems.

Read about the crash here www.foxnews.com...

Read his Biography here www.af.mil...

There may be more to this than meets the eye. This guy was more than just a weekend flyer he was a trained pilot and flying some big planes in his day and to go down in a little low attitude single engine Cessna does catch ones ear and eye.

So it was not surprise to find that on "From the trenches world report.com to find a post that some feel he was assassinated.

/here is a snipet from the post written by Barracuda "Prior to assuming his current position, he served as the Deputy Director for Nuclear Operations, U.S. Strategic Command, Offutt Air Force Base, Neb. In this capacity, he was the principal adviser to the commander on issues pertaining to strategic deterrence and nuclear operations and was responsible for management and oversight of the nuclear enterprise overseeing personnel, procedural, equipment, communications and facility requirements supporting the nuclear command and control system. The general is a command pilot with more than 4,300 hours, primarily in the B-1 and B-52, including combat time in operations Enduring and Iraqi Freedom.

Maybe they wanted to make sure he remained silent about something? I know accidents happen but there sure have been a lot of mysterious deaths recently. Check out more of his Bio here. Barracuda."

He may have been against Obama's desire to reduce the nuclear stockpile to very low levels. If there was someone that could go out and tell the nation how it would weaken our defense and leave us vulnerable to countries that believe they can win a nuclear war like China and Russia, this would be the General to do it.

However, things happen in single engine planes that wouldn't happen in a multi-engine, militarily maintained aircraft that could cause it to crash. It could be just an unfortunate accident. I guess we will have to wait and see what the investigation says about the cause of the crash.

Odd how so many people who are in positions of power die by plane crashes or car crashes. Especially when they speak up against those currently in power...must just be random chance that is very selective...

I always find it speculative when some one dies due to an airplane malfunction, especially if there is no recorded conversation of the pilot to flight control about problems and a black box recording not released.
