Howard Hughes : He wishes to control history.

Mainstream historians have simply regurgitated the official lines. Nixon's Apollo is a unique, new interpretation of history based on facts. Not only is this thread a review of Richard Nixon's narrative and the NASA/Apollo mythology, let's not forget the role of Howard Hughes. Hughes is the Geppetto to Nixon's Pinocchio, to wit,

this is "Iron" Bob Maheu describing Howard Hughes in 1972:

"There is no doubt in my mind that he feels he is more powerful than the president. He wishes to control history."

so hughes WANTS power over everyone,
he FEELS he is more powerful than the president,
he WISHES to control history,
yet you pasted an article showing someone planning to sue him.. where was his power to stop him? why does this article exist if Hughes can control history?

doesnt paint the picture of someone being powerful enough to overrule the president and write history in his own eyes in order to fake Apollo..

why do you always post articles that dont support your stance??

Not only that, but that article, and another on that page, states that no-one an actually be sure if Hughes is actually the person with whom they have had dealings as no-one has seen him for years.

Later on in that edition there is an article outlining plans for the shuttle, and how much cheaper it would be. That would surely mean less money for Hughes wouldn't it? Assuming the contracts handed out by LBJ during Apollo ended up anywhere near him, and assuming Hughes was actually in charge of anything beyond his own bowel movements by that time.

You'll have to explain to me what relevance your faking a comic cover, and the comments you put with it, have to do with my reply to SJ.

Here's the original, should anyone think that what you posted was the genuine cover:

buddy i need to repost what a Mod posted earlier because obviously you missed it.

ATS Staff would like to remind all members about the following:

The Skunk Works forum, while for highly speculative to outlandish ideas and theories, is here for speculation, not creating things that are untrue, false or easily proven to be a lie.

Tread carefully. It's okay to speculate, especially if that speculation is way out there with no proof. But it's not okay to present false information or information that is falsified by the poster. Doing so can get your account removed from ATS as it is a SERIOUS violation of the ATS Terms and Conditions.

OBMonkey has shown what you created as untrue, false and easily proven as a lie.

During the production of "Hell's Angels" in the 1928-1930 timeframe Howard Hughes assembled a special effects team that worked in this building to capture on film the famous Zeppelin attack scenes. If you have not yet screened Howard Hughes' "Hell's Angels" then you are probably not qualified to post in this thread.
