I agree. I’m not telling anyone to leave this country it’s an option that they brought up for themselves. I wasn’t lying when I said that if I were a liberal I would want to move to Canada. Canada is a great country for liberals to live in.

Which facist country would you move to if the Dems win next election? Where was the mass exodus of Repubs during the Clinton years? Do you remember the Clinton years? Or were you still in school.

I’ve never said I wanted to leave this country. Why do you assume that I want to leave this country? I endured the Clinton years just like the rest of my conservative American patriots. Unlike the liberal left I never cried and moaned and threatened to leave the country.

I made this post for two reasons. First, because I don’t believe for one minute that liberals really mean it when they say they are going to move to Canada. That’s just their silly way of threatening the rest of us. Why they would think that is beyond me. My heart would sing with joy if Hollywood and the left moved to Canada! The reality is that they will stay right here and the battle will continue.

My second reason for making this post is that I really do mean it when I say that I would move to Canada if I were a liberal. I could make a huge list of reasons why a socialistic, non-religious person would love to live there. So in the end, I find it ironic that so many liberals are threatening to move to Canada but will not actually go there.

Great post Machine . While I don't think anyone who is anti-Bush should move to Canada, there were way too many people saying "If Bush wins this, I'm moving to Canada!!". That's really lame, and if you're gonna make threats like that, please fulfil them for my and other people arounds them's sake. I don't want you around. Dude, have you ever been properly deprogrammed after leaving the military, or did they just turn you out after you served your purpose to them without resetting you to something that was safer and saner? I understand that soldiers need to be able to kill the enemy, but songs like that are just straight up disgusting, I sincerely hope they are no longer part of the training system for todays troops.

I joined the U.S. Army in 1986 before the massive change in training doctrine occurred. At this time, recruits were still hit from time to time and violent cadence songs were the norm. If that last song was offensive to you, you should hear some of the other songs I know! Remember, a soldier has to be desensitized to killing and violence so that he will not hesitate to kill when the time comes. Without this type of training soldiers may hesitate at the moment of truth and end up dead soldiers.

Today we have violent video games to take up the cause and most new recruits are already quite desensitized to violence before they even make it to basic training. Instructors are no longer permitted to physically strike a recruit. They are also no longer permitted to directly harass a recruit or use profanity. It’s a whole different ballgame. I’m not sure if the new training methods produce better or worse recruits in the end but that’s the new standard.

I’m thankful for the training I received. It makes the insults and harassment I receive in this world and online easy to take. You have to have thick skin if you want to be a warrior in today’s world!

Oh yes, don’t worry; I’m an easy going guy who only kills other human beings when legally and morally justified. If you want a glimpse of how soldiers use to be trained watch the movie, “Full Metal Jacket”.

It's simply amazing how a group of people can claim to have the higher morals but they have no problem breaking the most important of the ten commandements.

As far as the subject of this thread, I think it's a great idea.
I believe most academics are liberal so it's be fun to watch as the majority of educators head to Canada leaving the US with a severe shortage of teachers.

"I am god and thou shalt have no other gods before me."

It is not a violation of God’s law to kill other human beings in certain circumstances. So, of course you’re wrong to make such a blanket statement. Don’t hurt yourself trying to interpret something that you know little about. It just shows your ignorance and weakens your argument.

Also, don’t assume that all conservatives are Bible believing Christians. Conservatives come in many flavors.
