We are on a dust ball in a galaxy of billions of dust balls, amidst billions of galaxies. With each galaxy so far apart that we can't even reach them with radio waves in our lifetime, meaning that we are stranded here with no hope of ever participating in that Grand Scheme, whatever it is.

Not so fast! Humans are one step closer to using quantum entanglement for communication. We will soon be able to send information faster than speed of light. Even teleportation is possible through quantum entanglement.

Have you ever seen fruitflies orbiting a rotting fruit? That's what we will be like when or if we travel to the stars. From what I understand, though, the stars we see at night aren't there anymore. We're just seeing the light that's traveled thousands of years to get here. Isn't that right?

There are stars within 12 light years of earth that could very easily have life harboring planets. When you consider our own sun is about 4.5 billion years old, it's not unreasonable to expect that stars within our galaxy (the Milky Way) to have planets worth exploring. It's only 100,000 light years in diameter!

There has to be a first cause for the first action. Either the first time traveling back in time or the first time evolving on earth. Lets say humans originally evolved to be a lizard like species, and a billion years down the road they don't like it, so they go back to alter the DNA. If whatever happened happened, then they always did this. The problem is, now that humans are more "human like", who is going to go back in time to alter the DNA when necessary, and how would they know this is necessary? They wouldn't know and as a result the time travel never happened and then the human race ceases to exist as it is today. But again, that is not creating, that is altering an existing being.

The only possible way this could happen is if the soul/spirit hypothesis is true, where humans have an eternal timeless spirit and they they created this physical realm and subsequently humans to be hosts to them. Then you don't have the paradox of self creation. You do however still have the lack of objective evidence.
