There is no loss as long as freedom loving people still draw breath. However, your single person with a gun has:

Detonated an explosive at a civilian event, killing 3 innocent people and wounding 150 others.

Shot an officer point blank in his cruiser at MIT.

Robbed a 7/11.

Hijacked a car, with a hostage, and stole 800 more dollars.

and Got in a shootout with multiple police officers, before escaping. Killer at Large.

Is that the type of person you want walking around your neighborhood? A remorseless killer? What if he had your family hostage, and your own safety was threatened?

Do we know for a fact that him and his brother were the sole perps? Were there others involved in the planning, or was it just two disillusioned kids that made their own bombs?

There is good reason for the extra security measures, and every reason for LE not to take chances. Saving innocent lives should always be the highest priority.

Sure, there are crimes taking place everyday, common criminals who are eventually caught, but in this instance we are dealing with extraordinary events and crimes affecting many innocent civilians.

You sir/ma'am are a rational person and thats what i like to see.. this explosive paranoia without any real hard proof is just shocking. I never imagined people could be that extream. I stand corrected.

I really dont know if its faked. I am just giving my medical expertise with my paramedic cert and 15 years.

I wasnt there but I can try to explain historically why someone with no legs would be left for some one that looks uninjured.

In Fascism, the state is run by corporations.
In Communism, the corporations are run by state.

In BOTH cases, they put a boot in our face and tell us to bow down to the State.

Do you know anything about the real political scale? It goes right and left, and it goes up and down (individualist vs totalitarian).

And if the police weren't responding in force as they are, I'm sure there are many people here that are complaining about them being out in force would be complaining that they aren't doing their job.

I think it is 100% the correct response to let others know that if you decide to come attack us, only if it is 2 of you, we are going to respond with overwhelming force to find you and bring you to justice. There aren't many in this country that are willing to die for their cause...suicide bombers in other countries are more common because their countries and families are being absolutely destroyed and they feel like they have no other option.

So I'm sorry if you feel like your "rights" are being taken away...but I applaud the police and the feds for their response to this incident.
