Here is a report from the Blaze. Take it with a grain of salt.

CNN’s Gabe Ramirez is apparently reporting that police are saying at least one of the suspects matches description of Boston Marathon suspect. This has not been confirmed. CNN’s Jake Tapper reports that one suspect has been apprehended in Watertown, Mass. It has not been confirmed that suspect who has been arrested is connected to the shooting at MIT or the Boston bombings.

They shot the officer, then threw grenades and stole the vehicle. These are fairly trained "soldiers" from what I've heard so far on the scanner tonight.

There may be more gunmen people. I stress again this is precisely like the Mumbai attack.

I wouldn't be surprised if you're correct. It sounds very similar and how well trained. Glad one is in custody. Hopefully the other one(s) will be captured.

Anonymous says that one of the explosives thrown at police was a pressure cooker bomb.

Asking for all unenaged units to go somewhere...couldn't make out where.

Local Mass State Police Scanner now back online. Reporting from another airwing (helo) now enroute to the scene. I think this is the one they asked for earlier with the thermal spotting gear. (Mass State Police Scanner)
