When I was in the military, code black meant recovery mode/ sweeping for unexploded ordinance. Not sure if they use a similar code.

This was reported by the Mass State Police, repeating the description from the man who was var jacked by the suspects. The police have to believe the description from an eye witness when searching for someone you know. It's not racially motivated if true.

My report of "heavily armed" was directly from the Mass State Police scanner, from an officer that EMPHASIZED that phrase in a loud voice, and repeated it.

(4) Mass casualties
(5) Personal threat
(6) Personnel threat
(7) Infant abduction
(8) Severe weather alert

For those that are trivialising the fact that these guys were heavily armed, I heard the police officer (as I'm sure many others did) who was literally screaming over the radio, whilst they were firing/ throwing explosives at him.

The suspects also got their hands on a state police SUV somehow. I'm guessing the state trooper didn't hand it over willingly.

When they say they were heavily armed, they really were.

How do the cops allow their vehicle to get stolen?

The live news feed is talking about someone in custody and one on the loose. Robots and dogs are looking for devices to defuse.
