As I'm typing this, CNN has the twitter account:
twitter.com...

I would not want to one of 2042 followers of his twitter account.

It's up to 4000 now.

Why would you want to "follow" a guy who's dead? Figure that he'll come back to life, start tweeting and you don't want to miss out?

Did the helicopters swoop in an take away the guy the robots were working on?

No mention of this guy on the news!

Construction work sounded like shots. Disregard "shots".

Not if they wanted to get it to a place where it could make a maximum impact. Somewhere where he could get a lot of coverage, and use it when he has a lot of attention.

I'm sure most are just doing it to do it. He now has over 5000.

Also, I have a strong feeling suspect 2 is still in the area.

I bet they have a suitcase nuke....hence the standoff, helicopters...

Not possible .

It is possible, since the fall of the Soviet Union rumors of suitcase nukes vanishing has been a hot topic.

Russians have intel on that , last they want Chechen terorist to have nuclear material

Yes, it's in their best interest. Are they all accounted for? Only the Russians know for sure. Not probable, but I'd say certainly possible.

No. These dudes had no money as of last night -- hence holding up a gas station. If they had a nuke, that would mean they were/are funded very well.

Or they wanted to lure first responders and media to make a scene.

Kind of counter productive. Set off a crock pot and kill 3. Get yourself fingered and go on the lamb with a nuke.

Slightly off topic, but is one of the fastest growing threads I've seen in a long, long time.

Kudos to everyone providing info and ignoring the arguing.

request for someone to check an "open basement door" two canines enroute. They are obviously checking everything and probably have not actually run the guy down, unless he's the guy in black on the roof.

Anybody know police talk?

batteries: ammo?
sandwich truck: coroner?
cardboard box: bodybag?

Or maybe the need batteries for their radios, they're hungry and a cardboard box filled with crime scene supplies?

That twitter account is the account for Bomber #2, not 1. The one who's still alive.

Jahar is the "English" spelling of Dzhokhar - It's not the account for Tamerlan.

I would think they would have had a big enough scene at the marathon.

If a nuke ever goes off in this country, don't look at terror groups as the culprit, look for the Govt. that was behind it.... Having pipe bombs and guns is not big times at all, they could be with a group, but they easily could be on their own... But if a suitcase nuke comes into play, then you know youre up against something MUCH bigger...

Didn't he technically? Running someone over is usually detrimental to their health.
