So earlier it was briefly brought up that the suspect had a police walkie talkie. I just talked to a friend this morning, haven't talked to him for a day or so, and he asked me if I heard the suspect over the radio?? I was blown away. Did anyone else hear this? No news reports of such a thing but I swear I heard it and my ears perked up at the time because it def sounded strange.

This was reported on reddit too. I think he did.

I heard it , i thought it was just a young cop talking on the radio, but thinking it was the bad guy.

40-50yo male is carrying a bag and placing it places.

I bet the authorities summarily overlook and exonerate the suspects' girlfriends

There were earlier photos of someone that sort of fits that description. Blue jacket if I remember correctly.

Watertown believes they have him. Says he will blow himself up if the police get closer.

I swore i heard a voice with a middle eastern accent say this before the cops started parroting it. I posted then read 10 meassages saying that the cops said it so I removed my text but the post is still there.

This is no reason to blame the "islamic world", such talk is out of place and out of order. We are all in this race to the bottom, all just as crazy. It has nothing to do with islam or freedom or whatever. It is about people behaving in a sick manner for whatever reasons they find justifying.

Should we shut down foreign travel as well? Throw out the diplomats and the students? Everyone on a work visa?

This is a tragic bump in the road. Hundreds died in car accidents yesterday, but we aren't shutting down cars.

We should go about our lives as if terrorists are limp-dorked losers who have no effect on us, because any other reaction - by the people - is giving them far too much credit.

They also met with scene supervisors, before departure.

Seems like there are multiple perps. Ducking in and out taking shots to confuse police. Probably trying to draw police away from suspect 2.

They do noy have "him" so to speak but they have a 60 to 70 year old person on his back with an apparent device and handcuffed, he is covered at Gunpoint and awaiting EOD officer

Added :Suspect is in custody...something in right hand and holding what appears to be a device : one officer talks about a "dead mans switch" and this is not the suspect that they were origianally looking for.

Finaly got one of these scanners to work and they seem to have a guy down.

"Laying on his back. We have him covered. Awaiting arrival of EOD."
