Winter's coming. An energy supply disruption will leave a lot of furnaces cold. Even the one's in the mansions. We've already seen how prone the grid is to collapse with the summer's blackouts. We've also read about the downing of two 80ft transmission towers in Wisconsin with a decidedly low-tech approach. Buy blankets. Lots and lots of blankets.

Everyone here has mention everything I have thought of. Only now are they becoming stronger.
It has already been mention they are 90% ready. My insight tells me the other 10% must be the information to be conveyed as to when to take action....
They know our weakness, were sitting in front of one now!!

Im very curious I also wish to know trickmaster when you compare the two please visit my thread with comments as there are some who have brought issues up about the real reaons for the war as WMD's are not the real reason for Iraq.....

The last Bin Laden tape (10-29-2004) went to Al-Jazeera's Pakistan office, not a US outlet.
The tape was dropped off at the gate of the stations office in an envelope on Friday, just hours before it aired, said Ahmad Muaffaq Zaidan, Al-Jazeeras bureau chief in Pakistan.
We received it in Pakistan. ... Somebody dropped it yesterday at the gate, Zaidan told The Associated Press. The guard brought it to me along with other mail. It was in an envelope, I opened it and it was a big scoop. MSNBC

The Azzam The American tape is the one that went to ABC's office in Pakistan. atimes

An update on the tape.
They say Aljazeera is still sitting on it for a few more hours but they also say it has already been leaked on a few Al Qaeda websites.

trackingterrorism.com
We will attempt to update our readers on the status of the new Bin Laden tape. As we have said earlier, we have confirmed the actual existence of this new Osama Bin Laden video. Al-Jazeera is currently still on an embargo for a few more hours and cannot air any portion of this video tape. They have been put on embargo by the US Government wishing to investigate the video tape before its release.

I don't understand the embargo part of this.
Why would Aljazeera care about any embargo that the US government wants to put on the tape?

Al-Jazeera Television's embargo is similar to what we saw last week with the original Osama Bin Laden video. After US Government review, Al-Jazeera chose only to air 5 minutes of the entire 18 minute video. Al-Jazeera will be presented again with the option of airing any portion of this new video tape. In the past, Al-Jazeera Television has never sat on any message from Osama Bin Laden for more than 24 hours.

Currently, the airing of this video tape is in the hands of Al-Jazeera. While it is very likely that they may air the tape immediately following the embargo, it is also likely that they'll sit on it for another day or two. We have again attempted to speak with Al-Jazeera regarding the video tape, but however they appear to be on a gag order and cannot release any additional information about the tape's existence.

It would be absolutely fascinating to be able to see both the "Bush wins" tape and the "Kerry wins"version of the Osama tape.

I'm dying to know how these two tapes differed. Aren't you?

Just imagine the sorts of mind tricks he could pull with a pair of tapes like this!

I bet that, right now,OBL is praising Allah for allowing George Bush to be re-elected! Why would he fear Bush?
-Its been 3 years since 9/11 and Bush still hasnt captured OBL or his top men.
-by occupying Iraq, and in the process, killing tens of thousands of civilians, Bush has created the biggest terrorist recruitment center of all time.

Not to mention, Osama ISNT even in Iraq. It's like you killing someone, hiding in your house, and the police are ONLY searching your neighboors. It's great for Bin Laden. He has nothing to worry about.

They don't want their station to be bombed out of existence. If the U.S. cannot monitor and get early warning from these "reporters" then they clearly working directly for OBL, which makes them a target. By cooperating, even a little, with the U.S. then they avoid their destruction or shut down.

While Al Jazeera is not always the friendliest towards the US, and is sometimes downright hostile, I imagine that most of the people working for the company would feel like asses if they broadcast a tape that was later revealed to be OBL's "Go ahead and light up the nukes" tape.

Beyond any fear of retaliation from the US .gov, the employees at AJ are people, and not just stereotypes screaming for American blood.

Anyone know how credible that tracking terror link is?

I can't find this reported anywhere else, not even on Jezeera's site.

Well, that's just over 2 hours from now...
Have any of the 24/7's been given a heads up by AJ that it's coming? Or are they just going to give them about 10 - 30 minutes.

Should this happen, and it's new, everyone will forget the agenda for the next four beers that GWB just laid out.

This is not good, I sort of figured this would happen, but I also expected and attack BEFORE the election, maybe OBL might not have as much strength as originally thought.

Anyhow....keep you eyes on this one......Major news has nothing at the moment.
