A broad look at "conspiracy" (including lizard people)

Just for reference, ATS has 250,000 members....

And yet, there appear to be over 12 Million people who believe "lizard people run politics."

ETA - this is for information purposes only. Not sure how accurate this information is. It states that 160M believe in the JFK conspiracy...yet there are only 313M in the US total. I find it a stretch that almost half the country believes in the JFK conspiracy especially given that 313M is every man, woman, AND CHILD.

ETA (take 2) - so a wonderful ATS member has pointed out something even MORE interesting... Apparently there is yet ANOTHER poll. This one attributes the same conspiracies and associates them with POLITICAL AFFILIATION!!!

Some of those aren't conspiracy at all. For example, what are the instructions on a tube of toothpaste in the event of ingestion? Another thing, people believing that aliens or bigfoot exist is not a conspiracy. The formal definition of conspiracy is a group of individuals getting together and making plans to do something and then carrying that out. This means that anyway you put it 9/11 is a conspiracy because a group of people got together, planned an attack, and carried it out; so about 100% of people who believe that 9/11 happened by a group of terrorists or a cabal of global elite would be deemed conspiracy theorists... Really, that many people think it's ok to eat a tube of toothpaste? They are supposed to call poison control just to say what's up?
