Investigators believe they have identified a suspect in the Boston Marathon bombings, a source who has been briefed on the investigation told CNN's John King exclusively.

Analysis of video from a department store near the site of the second explosion and video from a local Boston TV station helped lead to his identity. This story does not say that he/she has been arrested, but this is a significant development.

Also breaking is the 3rd victim who died identity.

Boston University graduate student Lingzu Lu has been identified by the school as the third person who died in Monday's bombings at the Boston Marathon.

Very interesting.

It's odd for the 'expert' to say it has the 'hallmarks' of both international and domestic terrorism. Thats really conveying useful info there, thanks.

They've just arrested the suspect, a dark skinned male says CNN

Press conference at 5 pm EST

Identified by video enhancement

Authorities have a picture of the suspect carrying a black bag near the bomb site, the Boston Globe reports. CNN says a Lord and Taylor department store security camera and a local television station provided footage that helped investigators narrow in on an individual. The Boston Globe says the suspect was spotted by the department store’s cameras at the second bombing location on Boylston Street.
