So...the smoke has cleared. Will all the President and Vice President candidates that still have a political job please step forward? Not so fast John Edwards. Kerry simultaneously ran for his current senator position, but failed to advise his running mate to do the same. Edwards is, for now, not affiliated with the political scene anymore. What lies in his future?

No doubt he will co back to chasing ambulances and hitting hospitals with excessive litigation.
