www.usatoday.com...

WASHINGTON -- A letter addressed to Sen. Roger Wicker, R-Miss, tested positive for ricin or another poison, says Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., according to the Associated Press. The news was first reported by CNN.

The envelope, which was intercepted at an off-site Capitol mail facility, tested positive three times for ricin, according to CNN, citing a law enforcement source. After that round of tests the envelope was transmitted to a lab in Maryland for additional tests.

Bombs in Boston and now poison via the US Postal system to US politicians! Storms a brewin'!

Senators were briefed on the threat in a closed-door meeting Tuesday night. While reluctant to talk about the investigation, senators said it was reminiscent of the 2001 anthrax scare that followed the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Building and the Pentagon.

Very reminiscent indeed. From bomb drills to actual bomb attacks and now poison being sent in the mail to our politicians. We've been here before. Why Senator Wicker? Anyone got any info on him? Could this all be just a distraction? Keep your eyes open!

Oh great just like 9/11 with the anthrax.
And there was no problems with the official story that day either huh?

This will get weirder.

Was he in the library with a bottle of poison? If so, then maybe...

This makes absolutely no sense... what was the guy hoping the senator would eat the letter?

Eat the letter? Nah, he just had to inhale it.

Ricin

en.wikipedia.org...

Ricin (pron.: /ˈraɪsɪn/), from the castor oil plant Ricinus communis, is a highly toxic, naturally occurring protein. A dose as small as a few grains of table salt can kill an adult human. The LD50 of ricin is around 22 micrograms per kilogram (1.78 mg for an average adult, around 1⁄228 of a standard aspirin tablet/0.4 g gross) in humans if exposure is from injection or inhalation.[1] Oral exposure to ricin is far less toxic and a lethal dose can be up to 20–30 milligrams per kilogram.

Lol I think he was sir.

Seriously though if these are real terrorist attacks, is it in the terrorist 101 handbook
to make everything such a mystery?

Seems a terrorist attack should make a statement to your power. Why all the cloak, and dagger
games? Do it then say you did it.

There should be no need for us to have to piece everything together every time.

Nah, usually terrorists immediately take claim for their actions, or actions of others. So far I don't think anyone lays claim to the Boston bombings or this letter, but only time will tell.

After the death of 5 other lawmakers in 5 months, this is really no joking matter. Wasn't the last one from Mississippi also?

In fact, all of them were.

5 Mississippi state lawmakers have died within the past few months, including the recent
death of Jessica Upshaw who recently took a great deal of blame for not allowing a vote to
kill Agenda 21 in Mississippi.

A quick look up on Google showed that Sen. Wicker is against gun control legislation and is rated A+ by the NRA. Since Sen. Reid is trying to push gun control legislation through the Senate maybe (and this is a huge maybe) someone is trying to scare Sen. Wicker and other 2nd Amendment supporters like him into hiding so they are not present when the legislation is voted on. A huge stretch of the imagination, I know, but this is a predominantly conspiracy minded forum and it would make for a really juicy conspiracy theory! Just sayin'.....
