Bugger the sources, I want to find out about the Cardassian Shields.

If the Cardassians are real the it follows that Star Trek is real and thus all we have to do is to make a tiny Warp Jump and they will make first contact!

This explains it all. Star Trek was made by the illuminati, NASA, and the NWO to give secret messages to their members to let them know about first contact and warp gates.

Capturing a comet, then hiding it somehow in space and then at any given moment they’ll “sling” it with pin point precision at a target? How could they capture one in the first place and how could they possibly hope to control it? If they wanted such destruction, they wouldn’t use a nuke for what reason? I appreciate the laugh though. My “sources” have told me that your story belongs alongside fairy tales such as Cinderella and Snow White. This site’s standards are slipping by the day. It used to actually be interesting. Now it’s just full of mostly bullsh!t with the odd engaging thread. This one is harebrained and cockamamie.

Asteroids can be mined, coverted to space craft, space stations or even human colonies to ensure our survival. If we learn to move and control asteroids we could also use them to deflect incomming comets that might otherwise wipe out humanity. Asteroid colonies would help ensure human survival should sometging bad happen to Earth.

Most important however is that min8ng asteroids could fund and jumpstart a more robust space program. This is the best idea our country has had as far as paving our way into becoming a space fairing race.
