This actually made me cry. I don't even know why?

This made me cry! And I know exactly why!

[Mod Edit] Removed Gore]

Too much to take in? People need to see the reality of what America is doing to the rest of the world! Boston is just a walk in the park! I hear a lot of people talking about how they wished they were there to help in Boston like Carlos, but why are these same people not making their way out to Iraq to make the difference?

Absolute Hypocrites!

Humanity does indeed suck.

Sometimes its hard not to think like this, try to remember that there are many many others out there like Carlos who have compassion.

Try not get angry over the ones who still need to grow, don't let their negativity ooz into your life or home, pity them instead and hope that empathy will catch up with them.

Well done Carlos
I can only hope that your quick response will inspire us all if the need ever arises.

love and harmony

Thanks for bringing this to light.
I cringe at every photo of the scene and carnage...and the photo you posted just makes me wonder...if I could/would do that in any situation other than my own children.
THANKS again! I needed to see that.

I agree with everything you've said, and I wanted to add that in a lot of these cases people don't think, they just act. It's amazing how quickly people get over their fear and the gore of something like this to help someone. Adrenalin and Human empathy is an amazing combination, and it leads people to do some truly remarkable things that they never would have expected they were capable of.

The heroes should absolutely be praised, totally, they should all receive medals for their bravery. But just know that if you have any doubt about what you would do, you would probably be one of those people rushing in to help. Those who wouldn't are usually the ones who wouldn't bother thinking about whether they would help.

The people of Boston who opened their homes to so many others should all be praised too. There was so much selflessness exhibited by others yesterday that America should be extremely proud of Boston.

Yep sure did ! Military friends ?

So because he's active in the community of Boston (where he lives), and lost a son in service (explains why he's anti war) and protests (liberal) that makes him a suspect of something suspicious?

Let me guess, you saw him in Sandy Hook footage too, and he was an extra in Batman, and you think you saw him in footage from the Aurora shooting, and he has a pilots license, and had a relative in local government, and his cousin works for FEMA...

So how does this guy make it to the camera all the time? Nice new shirt. What"s Carlos do for a live'n ? Protest ?

I started a new thread but then got told by the Mods, so go ahead flame me to hell !

edit on 16-4-2013 by randyvs because: (no reason given)

Yeah the mods aren't going to like this one bit. Not in this thread, nor any other. This kind of thing does happen though. Crisis Actors Guild kind of thing. They show up in various ways during high profile newscasts playing all sorts of different characters to spin the story.

To be honest, the photo of this guy holding the femoral arteries of the wheelchair guy reminds me of the one scene in Tropic Thunder where Tugg Speedman's hands were blown off. Looks no more real to me than that. Like an earlier poster noted, no blood on the ground? The guys legs are missing from knee down, and he's not actively bleeding onto the pavement. Not realistic.

Read this post quickly, it won't be up long

Katrina images? LA riots?

And so what? shame on the whites for "lowering their standards" to that of Blacks? I don't know how to read your comment. What if Hispanics were in the mix? Would that detract from Carlos' efforts? People are people, black people have a right to do stupid things without the whole community being judged...shouldn't your brain be able to process the symmetry of that analysis (reciprocal) with white people doing stupid things like looting during a bombing?

Is Carlos bi-lingual?

If so, he could provide the much needed Telemundo interview, ala Gene Rosen.

No it doesn't make him a suspect of something suspicious. It does seem highly unlikely.

He gets interviewed a lot for being an illegal. From 2006

Brand new shirts brand new trucks and tours america as an activist ? Cmooooon !

Looks way to young to young to me. To have a son who would be pushin 30 yrs old at least in 2013

Yeah he does. He's on youtube way too much to just happen to have been in the right place at the right time to be photographed waving an american flag and holding some guy's blood vessels for him. I'm not buying it either. But it looks as though about 95% of people believe the crap out of it.

ETA: would he be Agency you think?

I'm only sure he's not what he seems. And he looks way to young to have a son who today, would be push'in 30 yrs old. His son died in 2004 so he says.

Your ability to espouse utter speculation as though you know of what you speak is second only to the sheer arrogance you display when unjustly minimizing reality and demeaning the honorable actions carried out by people you know absolutely nothing about.

Wow... did that jerking-knee hurt your chin?

It's widely reported that he's a U.S. citizen.

Yeah, right. Just dump a can of coffee beans in the trash can with the bomb, and the dogs will go right past it.... That's just one of several means that immediately leap to mind. Any stronger smell will do the trick.

You're exactly right Gaz. But it would have to be anything but coffee. From what I've read lately, cops train the dogs these days to go off on coffee also. But you are right just the same.

Takes a bow . I'm sure in one of the video's I posted it says he is here illegally ?
Actually he says it hang on.

I wouldn't just profile the guy.
So if you are here illegally I don't think you can gain citizenship ? That's my thinking tho.

I do actually believe this is probably a genuine terrorist attack and not staged, photoshopped whatever but before I saw this thread or knew who the guy was I wondered why he was everywhere on the photos and never once let go of the flag, almost like he's making a point of being seen with it.
I'm sure my comment won't be popular but it's true that investigators pay close attention to those who hang around the scene of a crime aswell as those who were there before it took place.

One of the videos posted here have him speaking about his origin....he came from Costa Rica as an illegal immigrant.

He's advertised as a naturalized citizen of the US today.

.....not that this has anything to do with his remarkable act of heroism assisting that injured man.
