BOSTON — Two explosions at the finish line of the Boston Marathon have resulted in injuries.

Bloody spectators were being carried Monday to the medical tent that had been set up to care for fatigued runners. Police wove through competitors as they ran back toward the course.

So not much known yet but apparently at the end of the Boston Marathon, which is a foot race that takes place every year on Patriots Day in Boston, two explosions went off and there are multiple injured.

Thoughts? Is this some sort of a distraction from the drop in gold prices today? Or a lone nut mad bomber aptly planning a bombing at the finish line of one of our most famous cities sporting events on Patriots Day no less?
