Was the first Temple Prostitute a man or a woman?

christianity-revealed.com...

Religion was invented to control reproduction and sex within finite living environments. The word we have coined as “God” was invented and his priest worked for the King. The King ruled all things including sexual mores, and ethical customs and fashions of the population through the temples. He had to because his kingdom was wrestled from sand and sweat and his resources were finite.

www.youtube.com...

The king had to appease the natural desires of all of his people somehow and still maintain the population at the proper sustainable number. No exceptions. He was the only King the people would ever know and sin in reproductive terms meant death at his hands. That is the only time death and sexual sin should be connected for all of those who think that a benevolent God would ever punish more than an eye for an eye. The wages for any other sin is definitely not death. That would be an injustice and a King or God would never do such. That is why he enforced chastity as an extra live baby, --- meant someone else had to die.

Thus was the oldest profession born. The temple prostitute. Male and female. Male first and then later, female. Male first is likely because of the armies that had to be maintained. After all, women were chattel and male bonding is what kept the city alive. This is not to say that there was no love between man and wife or that she was not equal in any way. Sanctity says that the King ruled only for woman’s sake because his queen was the womb of his seed.

www.artofmanliness.com...

The temple prostitutes were well respected and accepted as just another variant of sexual delight by all. After all, most of these prostitutes were likely the Kings children, males and females, and they performed a vital service to the city state.

Do you think the first temple prostitute was a man or a woman?

Regards
DL

It should be legal and regulated in every state.

If one understands why so many killers like Manson kill.

I'll give you a hint. Look at someone here with an avatar of someone rubbing their arm with a submoniker called Fighter.

Forearm.

Fore arm = to arm in advance.

The mind is designed to fight sexual abuse, but if you have a child they can't defend themselves. So, that fight mechanism remains active throughout their lives. Many of these people are prone to fighting as they are hypersensitive to eye contact and power displays of ego. These are often trouble makers in the work place as people don't understand their driving mechanisms in their mind. They will often test people more than others.

Manson was likely a sexual abuse victim. Many serial killers are, and then spiritual Babylon attempts to sexual frustrate them. They will do one of two things. Pull a Sandusky. Or pull a Charles Manson.

Or they will go to Amsterdam, Nevada, or Thailand.

And if we had a regulated industry it would cut down on work place violence, serial killers, rape, and molestation.

Not sure about your last but I do agree with your first.
You did not speak to the O P though.

Do you think the first prostitute was a man or a woman?

I know it is basically guess work but I laid a logic trail that points to a man.

It doesn't matter, they are both an abomination to God and utterly repulsive to what sexual relations was intended to consummate between a husband and wife.

Yeah, and this is the very kind of right wing Christian thinking that supports Benny Hinn and unresolved child sex abuse that results in people like Jeffrey Dahmer.

Strangely enough the idea of Christian right wing tyranny was one of the concepts the founders of the country risked their lives to fight against in the war for independence.

Ironic no? And now we have American playing the same tune as British Kings were 200 years ago under the guise of false religion.

Christ is a master of psychology, unfortunately many right wing Christians aren't.

Hi Greatest, I always wondered about that myself and i think unless we had a time machine we won't no really, all i do no is in Greek Temples and the like they had priestess and little priestess shall we say prostituted themselves to men for money that went towards the upkeep of the temple and food for there god/s but the main priestess who was like the say daughter of Isis or whatever god they where praying to there daughter any hoo she did not pare take in the prostitution side of Temple life as she had to remain pure, just like me

Greek and Roman men did however (as we all no) go to male prostitutes and i'm sure some of the young boys who worked in the said temples in those bag-on-years where the ones having the deed done to them, why have an old prostitute of the street when there's young pretty boys in the temples? Why they took the money and gave it to a temple priest or not is another question, but the men did it in secret and would have been horrified if any male friends found out even though half of them where likely doing it.

That's my wee piece of pie Greatest, i love history threads even if this ones dirty
Thank you for writing it s/f

Am I to understand that you are implying that the world was devoid of moral rectitude before Christ?

To my knowledge, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, and the like, did not participate in sexual debasement. Noah's drunken tryst post-flood notwithstanding.

Kings of ancient Israel had concubines, no doubt, but a concubine is a far cry from one whom spreads their legs and any other orifice for whomever, or whatever, passes by.

Regardless, the stark result which ultimately presents itself through sexual immorality, no matter how accepted & seemingly benign (the keeping of concubines by kings) or justified by ritual (temple prostitutes) can be seen with any thorough reading of the Old Testament and Its gritty, unflattering account of ancient Israel's demise.

There's always been prostitutes for flip sake its thousands of years old and not everyone went to the temples to pray for the christian god like some to-day!

They where praying to just about everything and anything that moved in those days give it a fat bellied woman to a cow with horns for crying out loud its just the same now a days only instead of a fat preggers woman and cow they have drink drugs and yes prostitutes.

Though if you want to be seedy and say you think you have the be all and end all truth that the first one was a male hay go for it at least it gives us women a break.

I forgot to say but the first line in your question to me says rectitude before Christ?

Did you mean to write that word or was it a slip of the finger and you meant to write something else.

Strange that God would create an abominable nature for mankind.
The buck stops with the creator but I agree with you that he screwed up from Eden on up.

My pleasure but I do not think it dirty at all. It is just history. You missed in that clip the part showing the use of the royal coin and how they were used to feed the village or city state. That is why we call money, bread.

No problem. You gals need all the breaks you can get FMPOV as you have been oppressed by the churches and men for 3,000 years.

Let us pray that men recover their sense of duty and smarten up. Justice demands it but some men are too foolish and self-centered to notice.

Well didn't Jesus set women free from sin when he died, there's not many men who would do that for anyone never mind a woman

He set men free from sin to of course, i don't want you nagging me like a wee woman in a minute that i'd forgot about you lot

I love Jesus and he had a bit of humor himself at times.

If you were speaking of the Jesus that the churches do not teach I would join you in respecting him but unfortunately the Jesus that the church wants to ride as their scapegoat into heaven is not worthy of respect. All that one has is unworkable rhetoric and policies, like his divorce and forgiveness rules are quite anti-love.

Here is what should be taught and the second links speaks of the Jesus you like. Yuk.

I watched the video's but your going to have to ask me the questions as i'm a bit lost for words (that's a first he says lol)

I'm not to sure if i fancy telling people i'm christ like i would feel a bit odd. Bill does tell a good story and i might even go watch a few more of his vid's with my horlicks to-night just to see if he trips himself up.

Though i'm away first to look into trying to find out more about your thread as it has me intrigued hopefully we can throw in a bit of each subject so we don't go of topic all the time or i'll get hung out to dry from my minder who likes to keep me right, (DTOM lol if you read this)
