Oh, Chopin is Golden! My favorite classical composer of all time, by far. However, I think you did not quite do him justice! Chopin himself was not a huge fan of some of his own Nocturnes. Who knows what his favorite was, but I enjoy these ones:

The choral music of the Russian Orthodox Church is designed to set the soul searching beyond earthly cares. Lush harmonies float in space, angelic high voices pour down from heaven, deep bass voices arise from the center of the earth. For sheer beauty, there is little to match it anywhere in the world. Tchaikovsky's stately and serene setting of this angelic invocation has an other-worldly quality like no other version. The direction of Valery Polyansky brings out subtle nuances and depth in music. Here, one truly feels the presence of angels.

Chopin is one of my favorites as well I know I didnt do him justice, I didnt want to post a 5 page OP of youtube links ... I did include one of my favorites of his; Ballade 1 (which I have read was a piece he was most proud of, or he thought it was his best...so maybe I did do him some justice...)


One of my favorite Nocturnes of Chopin, is his 10th... starts at 0:39:08 ... ( I can understand why he may not have totally loved all of his nocturnes, but there are a lot of them that are exceptional, and I enjoy listening to them all, for a while I would go to sleep listening to that recording of his complete nocturnes night after night)

I dont listen to much Vivaldi but he is great, love his work. I personally enjoy the famous melody of 'Spring', but that winter piece was awesome and epic.

I wasnt the biggest fan of beethoven either, until I became a big fan of his...His bagatelles are really lovely, I like some of his sonatas, good chamber music, great symphonies, and a few awesome piano concertos... this is my favorite piano concerto of his.

Thank you so much for sharing, and im glad you enjoyed! I love Ravel, and especially that piece, Stravinsky is beyond belief, I have never heard that work so thank you.

That Prokofiev was wonderful. I know this is a well known piece by him, but I havent heard much music of his and I do like this one.


and one of Brahms more popular pieces... but a tune which is constantly stuck in my head..

Wonderful piece of music, and especially nice performance.

I see the embedding didnt work, Im assuming because in my instructions I included the watch?v= in one of the steps, so perhaps you included that in the copying. I meant to express that you need to copy the 11 digits after the = sign. Dont give up, you will get it next time you post some music.
