Y'know, my first impulse was to think "what a waste!" and then I remembered other stories about vanishing insects that we do like and that are useful -- the bees, for instance. And some of the beautiful butterflies.

And fireflies. Don't know if you've got them in your area, but they used to be common in the 1960's and earlier. Now they're pretty rare. So, yes, I think I'd like to see more of this.
