The FBI has requested more than $41 million to improve the bureau’s ability to collect and analyze cyber information and address “critical gaps” in its capability to monitor web activities. Is this a violation against our civil rights?

Civil rights? Don't fret too much about it. They're The Government; they're here to help us. If they perceive that our civil rights are too burdensome for our own good, then they'll soon convert them to privileges. Privileges are not absolute, and are therefore more easily granted and revoked--well, mostly revoked, as we will no doubt abuse them anyway.

Believe me, we couldn't find a better use of $41 million of our tax dollars. Anyway, the FBI is like our un-elected "guardians." They're not accountable to us, so we needn't have any concerns with what they get up to behind our backs and at our expense....

Why doesn't the FBI look into tax evasion, insider trading, treason by our gov't employees - oh, that's right - they're in on the scam.

Why don't we keep the FBI busy investigating the CIA and vice versa? That should keep both entities busy for decades.
