The 'Christian' Taliban States of America' begins and much as I wish they s*d off and keep themselves to themselves I doubt it and God help us all.

It honestly frightens me that Bush and his cronies will have another 4 years. Not for MY safety, since I'm in Canada, but for millions of others.

I'm really stunned that he got re-elected, since that's what it pretty much look like at this point, unless something strange happens in Ohio.

They were thinking about gay marriage.

It is msot disturbing to me, that above the other more pr4essing issues, record number of voters turned out to vote against gay marriage.

I know of people, who agreed with Kerry on most Everything, but voted for Bush because of gay marriage.

Thats what drew so many half wit Christian fundimentalists out of the rocks and caves to vote, otherwise, they would have stayed at home.

The fact that Bush won is not so painful to me, even though i wish he hadnt.

The fact that the election was decided on an issue so......trivial and irrelevant.....

I agree completely with Skadi, the gay marriage issue turned out to be the real poll mover (such a shame). Bush gets away with murder because of stupid religious beliefs again. Yup. Sad, aint it? You know alot of people have said, they actually agreed with kerry on almost everything. Most Americans are unhappy with Iraq. They are unhappy with the Economy. They are unhappy with the war on terror. they are unhappy with bush.

But because kerry supports gay marriage, they could not vote for him.

Morality is what caused the sudden apearance of people.

People voted a trivial issue into our country's future.

So what my fellow American tells me, well deal with increased terror threats, more lay offs, more Enron scandals, more fascist crooks in DC....so long as men do not get married to each other!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
