ACLU POSITION Given the reference to "a well regulated Militia" and "the security of a free State," the ACLU has long taken the position that the Second Amendment protects a collective right rather than an individual right.
And Neo, do remember that fascist means corporate controlled... no laws, no policies yadda yadda happen without the corporate approval of the banks and the wall street crooks that you love so much.
"The first truth is that the liberty of a democracy is not safe if the people tolerate the growth of private power to a point where it becomes stronger than their democratic state itself. That, in its essence, is fascism - ownership of government by an individual, by a group, or by any other controlling private power. "

Are you actually suggesting that Hitler and the Third Reich didn't have corporate backing?
Adolf Hitler's rise to power began in Germany in September 1919 when Hitler joined the political party known as the Deutsche Arbeiterpartei (abbreviated as DAP – German Workers' Party); the name was changed in 1920 to the Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei – NSDAP (National Socialist German Workers' Party, commonly known as the Nazi Party).
How many more of these pointless, alarmist threads are you going to make?
Is this the NRA forum now?

She doesn't answer to the voters? Really?
Who's fault is that may I ask?
When are people going to realize that a govt. only has as much power and authority as a people are willing to give it? If enough people finally start giving a damn, and utilizing, as a group, their own power; the govt. will soon realize just who really holds the power.
But hey, sitting on one's ass watching reruns is easier than making the Republic work.
Odd for a "corporatist".
fas·cism /ˈfaSHizəm/ Noun
An authoritarian and nationalistic right-wing system of government and social organization. (in general use)
Extreme right-wing, authoritarian, or intolerant views or practice.
Fasces (pron.: /ˈfæsiːz/, a plurale tantum, from the Latin word fascis, meaning "bundle") is a bound bundle of wooden rods, sometimes including an axe with its blade emerging. The fasces had its origin in the Etruscan civilization, and was passed on to ancient Rome, where it symbolized a magistrate's power and jurisdiction. The image has survived as a representation of magisterial power. A secondary meaning of the bundling of sticks may have been "strength through unity". Fasces frequently occur as a charge in heraldry, and should not be confused with the related term, fess, which in French heraldry is called a fasce.

I agree that it's fascism but you aren't understanding what's actually making this fascist because you won't look beyond the politician proposing the laws. What makes our country increasingly fascist is the corporate control over government... that includes authoritarian laws.
