Any wild animal can be dangerous.
People seem to forget that when they come into contact with a wild animal. I recall stories of tourists, happening to see a couple of lions in Africa,
that got out of their cars to say "cute little lion, looks just like my cat", and guess what happened to them....
A wild animal will either see you as prey, or as their predator, or the predator of their offspring. Well, if it sees you as prey, good luck. If it
sees you as its predator, it will either flee, or fight to protect either itself or its young. And then there are the animals that has rabies, and
they are totally unpredictable.
Bottom line is, a wild animal is not your friendly pet dog/cat/rabbit, but they need to do what they do to survive. Understand that, and respect that,
and learn their habits, then you won't have a problem.
